I’m with Dracco on this one . If someone was selling something & I thought the price was too high then I just wouldn’t offer on it . Having bought from Phoenix before I cannot recommend her highly enough & I for one thought the starting prices of her sale VERY reasonable – what happened after that is out of her hands & surely depends on what us on the Forum feel it’s worth to us . I collect because I like a piece but I don’t have a problem with the value of Windstones increasing – surely that’s a positive thing for ALL of us collectors . I personally don’t have limitless funds and choose to collect retired & limited production pieces rather than just a few OOAK pieces & am grateful for people on the Forum like Phoenix who give me the chance to add to that collection .
Well to make up for my disappointment over the winged cat gargoyle I got myself a mother griffin gargoyle mint in her box for $16 so I’m a bit happier 😀 .
Is it possible to get replacement crystals ? It’s not so much that it may be cracked but the fact that the seller hasn’t mentioned it if it is .
I’d be interested to know how many of the small blue wizards with the rose sleeves there are because I’m lucky enough to have one .
No I didn’t buy the gargoyle . I didn’t think it would have been possible to get the paint off without damaging it 😥 .
Well I now know why it didn’t look quite right in the picture – I think it was genuine though the felt pad was only a remnant BUT SOMEONE HAD ONLY GONE & SPRAY PAINTED IT WITH GRAY CAR PAINT 😯 😯 😯 😯 😯 😯 😯 😯 😯 😯 😯 😯 😯
