Just came back from a vacation, still recuperating from that. Plus, I really don’t like heights and planes are kinda scary…. 😯
Aw, well, too bad then. Another time. 🙂
All Ki-Rin Baby’s have been sold. Congrats to those who’ve purchased.
Enjoy them… 🙂

Considering what Fiasco translates to.. I’m not sure you want negative feelings around him. He’s gentle and is helping you fulfill your lifelong dream. I’d pick a more upbeat name. I’m not familiar with the Othello play, but it does have a nice sound to it. Can you imagine yourself yelling it at him when he does something you dislike? Or sharing your experiences of him with someone else with that name
If you want something like “Blessing”
Bendició (literally bendición) is spanish for Blessing and rolls off the tongue kind of nice. Shortens to Benny? *isn’t sure why I have so many strange suggestions for this horse* Sorry! Hah. I’ll stop 😉purplecat wrote:I live too far away or I’d be there lickety-split…(pouts about being on wrong side of the US….) 😥
Definitely a bummer… Although, *scratches chin thoughtfully* I have heard they make these little things called “planes” that help you carry out these fairytale-like things called “vacations”. Maybe, if the legends are true, maybe you could come on a “vacation”? 😈 Visit a beach or twenty!
purplecat wrote:Ok, so we’re house shopping and we found a small farm in our price range. I loved the house and the view is incredible, plus he had several horses. The owner said we could pick a horse to go with the house! I fell in love with a very gentle black saddlebred gelding…absolutely gorgeous! I need a name for him, but am coming up blank. It’s been my lifelong dream to have a small farm with a horse…Oh, man am I excited!!!
Congrats. 🙂 I’m excited for you!
Of the horses I’ve known… the short names have been “Fancy” “Surreal” (Sur), “Namron” (Norman in reverse), “Justy”, “Blackberry”, “Courage”, “Commanche” and then there was “Wart” and “Taco” but… those may not suit him! Hope these serve as inspiration for you.. Good luck. You’ll find the perfect name, I’m sure of it. If not.. there’s always:

How abut a general time or anticipated window so “the most” available people can arrive at Nirvana’s booth the same time. I’m flexible for both days. 😀
And… are we all bringing a piece to tote around? CafePress shirts? “I love Windstones” scribbled on our foreheads? Haha! How about a mantra we chant as we walk around, drawing those “who know” together until we’re all together walking around. Do you think people might get freaked out if there is this huge mob of people with gypson statuettes chanting
“Squeak, Squeak, Squeak. Hail to the Creator. Squeak!”Here’s the place: San Luis Obispo Renaissance Faire. July 21st-22nd. There’s a prior post about this, but now that it’s closer.. A reminder won’t hurt.
Edit: 21st-22nd. I read a publication that listed it wrong, I guess. I’ll have to double, double check. But I’m sure wolflodge is correct (she’s been around SLO County far longer than me :-D)
The bidding is almost done. Looks like ski is going to take the superfast griffin home!
SPark has so kindly sold me her bird winged flap cat and will fix and repaint it for me. 🙂 I can’t wait to get it! 🙂
Happy Birthday!!!

I went into a local book store that also had other dragon, fairy, pagan, etc themed gift item around the store. I asked them if they ever heard of Windstone. The lady behind the desk said “Yes, they’re great. We put an inquiry in, but they didn’t seem interested in doing business with us. I think they want more artsy places”. Is that true? Does Windstone have a preferance who sells their sculpts?
If not, any of the Windstone Staff hear from Ann’s Books in Atascadero, California?

I’m not sure why… but those knights look really scrawny and kind of .. lost? ❓ But I like the color and design. Reminds me of my fantastic pewter piece from Germany (post picture later, when not at work.) 😉

I love the way you have it set up! It gives so much more browsing pleasure. You’re a fantastic artist and we appreciate all that you’ve done. Those lucky few… I’m jealous. 🙂 Keep up the wonderful PYOs and other experiments. Cute kids and kitties! Thanks for sharing.
