    Congrats, Papercut: -)

Great collection, newfie. Lots of good books, too. Did you read the Clive Barker Abarat 1 & 2? I have them, but I’m waiting for the others to be released before I start reading them.
I’ve read both and have been anxiously waiting for the third. He must have take a break though since he just released Mr. B Gone. I recommend it!

When we had our daughter my wife had to be induced. She was dialated at 4 cm’s for 2 weeks and the doc did everything he could to get her to go into labor, but nothing worked. She had an epidural and the pitoscin. The bad thing was that it did make her contractions come almost one on top of the other without much of a break between. The good thing was that it sped up her delivery. We went in at 7am, the doc broke her water at 8am and Alyssa was born shortly after noon. I don’t know if this is typical or not.
Not sure if this helped, but I’m kinda with the majority on this, wait at least until your due date to see if things work out naturally and if not, then schedule. Good luck!!

Intense Violet Emerald Peacock Lap Dragon and Black Gold Curl (my fave)

Peacock Scratching Dragon and Gold Curl

Rainbow Male Dragon and Red Flame Curl

    Wolf Griffins

    White Flap Cat

This is only some of my collection since image shack is giving me a fit uploading pictures.

I had trouble just registering on Image Shack, gave up and used Photo Bucket. It was pretty simple and let you upload lots of pics at one time. Having never uploaded or posted pics before and being technologically challanged, using Photo Bucket was a breeze!

Nice pics how did you get them on line?? Was it your daughter??

Naw, she’s not that good…. yet. My niece actually helped. She suggested using Photo Bucket as opposed to Image Shack. I had problems trying to register on Image Shack. Photo Bucket was very simple and I was able to upload multiple pics at one time.

As you can tell, I’m not much of a photographer. Hopefully next ones of all the boys and girls will be better!

Are you a real transplanted Newfie? Or just a wannabe???

    *Hangs head in saddness*
Either way Welcome and thank you for dashing my hopes and dreams that a member of my family finally got into this game of buying me Windstones, and doing it in a really fabulous way!! Yes I had secretly hoped that you were a member of my family buying me pretties.

Oh well that goes with out saying I’m not really that lucky, umm like ever. But if I do win the Lotto you all are going to cry!!! 😈 😈 😈 😈 Muwahahahahahahahah!!

And just in case you didn’t catch that WELCOME from a transplanted Newfie!! 😀 😀 😀 😀

Thanks for the welcome! No, I’m not a real newfie, but one of my dogs is. She’s a 2 year old newfoundland named Star. We love the breed because they have the best temperament and are such big loves. She’s our second. We lost our first, Shadow, about a year ago. He was 9 and got very sick and we had to have him put to sleep. 😥 😥 😥 My wife and daughter missed him very much as did my other dog Bear, our 13 year old mutt who was like Shadow’s mother. So one day while my daughter and I were out, my wife surprised us by greeting us at the door with Star! I wasn’t really ready at the time for a new dog, it was still a little too soon for me, but now that she’s here, everything just seems right with the world again! 😀

The Silver SK arrived today!!!!!! Picture can’t do her justice, but I’ll get some help from a friend and hopefully will be able to get pics up by next week!!

Thanks for the info. I’m glad I asked first since I do have 2 Rubies!

Some of my older pieces are a bit dusty (an understatement) and I was hoping to get some suggestions on the best way to clean them up without damaging them (the reason they are in the state they’re in). I was not able to find any info doing a search so any help would be appreciated.

We’re in Greensburg, about 35 miles east of Pittsburgh. Are you familiar with the area?

Hey, I was born and raised in Pittsburgh! I actually lived most of my life in Bethel Park and Greentree. Now I’m in Atlanta, GA. I wish I could move back home. I’m so tired of the traffic and how crowded everything is. Plus… Pittsburgh will just always be home for me.

So… you pulling for the Steelers tomorrow? 😀

I’ve driven Atlanta a few times while driving to FL for vacation, but never took the time to stop. Maybe next time we’ll spend a day to look around. Traffic here on the Parkway (appropriately named!) hasn’t changed so you’re not missing much in that area! I am rooting for the Steelers and as long as the offensive line picks it up a bit, we might have a shot!
