Star–did you stay on the Estate, or just visit?
I honeymooned there last July, and it was amazing! They even have a flourless chocolate cake that’s to die for!
We enjoyed the pool in the evenings, surrounded by fireflies–had not seen them in years! (don’t have them in Colorado…)
What did you think about the master clock in the main house?
We stayed in the Inn for several days, and were treated like royalty. What an awesome experience!
Do we get to choose our own subtitles, or is there a list in another post that we choose from? Are there definitions anywhere?
Love the idea, but have been too busy to keep up the last couple of months… 🙁
Thanks!
(Edit 12 May) I show up as Lurking–sweet!!! Very appropriate! 8)
Yikes! I got a silver ring stuck in it once and it zapped the daylights out of me–think I was 14 at the time.
Why did your name change to DINNER all of the sudden?!?
Good luck with Shadow!
Congrats on getting your baby back!
I’ve used electric fencing to keep dogs in–around the top for jumpers, and around the bottom for diggers. I have both right now.
We only turn it on long enough for them to get zapped once or twice, then turn it off. It doesn’t take long for them to learn, doesn’t hurt them, and is pretty inexpensive. (you can grab the wire and feel the pulses increase until you let go–definitely uncomfortable)
I haven’t turned it on in about 16 months…
(You’d have to train them with the kids inside so they wouldn’t get into it)
Good luck! 😀
This is going to open a huge can of worms… 😉
Production Prime Warrior (all traditional colors, black violet peacock, autumn leaf)
Production SK’s (need peacock/ruby; want BVP!)
Bay/bald eagle hippogriff family
Wolf family
Peacock curlies (light and dark shades)
Ruby ‘leftovers’ and curlies (by ‘leftovers’, I mean all pieces not yet in ruby)
Garden dragon
Phoenix
Juvenile or fledgling griffin–scratching/pouncing/stretching (new pose; smaller than parents, but bigger than chicks)
How about a hatching owlet?!?
Factory Raffles offered quarterly 8)Thanks!! 😀
Good point, Jasmine! I love the way books smell, too! It’s awesome! And, the faintly yellowed pages. (I don’t like some of the new typesets and really bright white pages–gives me headaches…)
I have lots of out of print and first editions, and my Dad buys stuff for me all the time. (I hide my really special ones when he visits because he breaks their spines and I get really upset!! 😯 )
Doubt I’d ever give up the real thing–that would just be too weird!
Think this will be great for trips so I won’t feel like I’m back in college, dragging 23 pounds of books everywhere I have to go. I don’t take the special ones out of the house unless I have several copies.
These things are NOT supposed to mimic a computer screen, and are supposed to be very easy on the eyes–you can even adjust the font sizes when ever you want to! Will let you all know how it turns out! 😀
Thanks everyone!!! I’ve been running all ove the place, doing errands, and am ready to fall over now.
Had a pretty good day. I got two Jean Slaughter Doty horse books (that I read repeatedly when I was a kid) and a Kindle (it’s backordered). Can’t wait for that to get here because I LOVE to read!! (if you don’t know what a Kindle is, take a look on Amazon.com, or Google it–they are supposed to be awesome) We shall see!
Oh–and nobody’s belated! I turned 38 at 7:27 this evening.
Cake, ice cream, and bear hugs to all of you! 😀 😆 😀
Please add me to the wish lists for Peacock and Ruby Curlies.
Thanks! 😀

I love it because it brings back lots of childhood memories–Snap and Pop were Canada geese, too! 😀
drag0nfeathers wrote:Hmmm…a total subject change, but the person who sniped the Spectral from me won 5 Black Violet Peacock Old Warriors…geeze…guess I had some stiff competition and I didn’t even know it. *sigh*
I’m all bummed out now, I’m sorry guys. Blah.
I wonder if this was the same person that pushed our BVP up to $1200… 😯 😯 😯
Eeeeeeee! I’m so excited!
Now the hard part–waiting for him to show up. It’ll probably be about 2 weeks before I get him since he didn’t take PayPal. 😥
We need a goofy, happy dancing smiley since I can’t sit still…

I’m not sure if this has been asked before…I do remember reading somewhere that the Curlies will be made in many different colors.
I am wondering if there will be a Peacock colored Curlie?
and hoping that one day I can have one to add to my collection. 😆Yes, I will do a peacock curlie. I plan to do all the colors we have done. I have a bright peacock curlie sample, I’ll need to do both a light peacock and a dark peacock.
Yay!!! I would buy both Peacocks! And a Ruby, someday, too.

We had a dog named Smokey and have one now named Scruffy 🙂
I also ahve a horse named ScoutSweet! I’ve always enjoyed names, and I remember the animals’ before I can remember the humans’. I’m always saying, “you’re so-and-so’s mom/dad, aren’t you?”
