thanks I usually do stories or poems with my pieces not all the time but most of the time- this piece is the first time doing a setting around the sculpt but I like it so I will probably do it more often.

Thanks for the welcome 😀 Yes everything comes with it- tho I am not permanently attaching anything because I want to be able to wrap everything up really well. I have to still write the story too- I was thinking of doing more of this type of thing with my PYOs it just seems to fit them (the ‘setting’ I mean- giving them some more personality). Plus I can incorporate the stories and poems into what environment I put them in… I have a muse next but I don’t have an idea yet for the setting on him.
Well after a long absence I am back 🙂 Summer is just so ridiculously busy for me. Anyway I wanted to show you a new PYO I have been working on… I still have to write the story for him/her.
What do you all think? He/she (not sure yet lol) is painted to look as tho it was a bronze that was left out in the rain and weather. The body is a golden hugh and the main and tail are actually more of a bronze color. There are real dried flowers all around, a little painted frog and he/she is sitting on a piece of raw wood covered in real moss (of course all plant material was preserved etc).
I can’t wait to write the story tomorrow.

I was a little scared to ruin it– especially with the insert windstone puts in there about how hard they are to paint 🙂 that doesn’t make it any easier to start 😆 and thank God I didn’t struggle as much with my first as I did with following pieces– or I would have never ordered another! hahaYou will do just fine! Honestly the sculpts are amazing- they look decent even with the worst paint jobs… They can take a couple coats of paint before they start looking gloppy- so even if the first attempt looks terrible you can try again. Start with a base coat and see how painting it feels- try not to worry about it too much!
PS- watch out you might catch the PYO bug tho– then you can’t stop painting them!I sell everything- I do not have one of my own PYOs- sad as that is… I know once I start keeping even one- I will not want to sell anything… and painting is my work (I love it and it is our second income etc)
If you collect unicorns I would keep her- I love the face markings… but if you don’t really collect uni’s then I would sell- she will get you a good price I bet.welcome to the LMFMRPYO- Losing My Freaking Mind cause I Ruined my PYO

24K leaf, swarovski crystals/metal embellishments- and a little fresh water pearl- was an earring 🙂 Why oh why can’t I win the lottery (well I don’t play for one!) so I can keep all my PYO’s 😆 someone should just give me $1,000,000- any takers? hahaha

Sorry I am at my moms for the weekend so I haven’t had time to check out the forum- I will probably make more but not in this particular leaf and not the same colors etc- each one will be unique. I love the leafing effect. I am leafing a muse over the weekend- he won’t be listed until tuesday or wednesday- I’m going to use the 24k leaf- I think such an ugly creature deserves a beautiful finnish 🙂 BTW I love the muses- they are so adorable.
geeze! that was fast! no one probably got to see him 🙂 Once I get the pics smaller I’ll add them to the gallery- the program I use to make pics smaller is messed up grrrrr

Thanks I think he wwill be finished tonight! Freaking leaf is such a pain some times! My painting desk is near my airconditioner- leaf goes flying everywhere when it is on- but it I turn it off I am sweating to death! 🙄

hmmm- that is a good idea- I will take a closer look and see if I have a similar paint color to something in the leafing
