Wow! Is that a real picture or is it doctored? If it’s real, he’s amazing! Never seen one that color before.

That’s a variegated tropical squirrel — Starbreeze told me about those awhile back. Here’s the info that she sent me: http://www.hilozoo.com/animals/A_squirrel.htm

I think those are really neat!

Too true! I saw some auctions for fairy dust (a.k.a., dust swept up from the garage) that people were bidding on and I thought those were really funny.

And I definitely subscribe to the max bid at the last moment strategy. 😈 But I’m always afraid that the computer will choose that moment to seize up and I’ll be like…aaaaaaaugh! Hasn’t happened yet, but then again, I haven’t bought very many things either…

in reply to: Gary Kinsella- Melody or anyone? #518709

Yes, the castles are made by Windstone, but the artist was Gary Kinsella. Its the same kind of arrangement as for the Maya Hill figurines that Windstone currently makes.

    Yeah, we’re all kinda weird…in a nice way… 🙂

I love that! Dont feel bad, Im sure there are more than just you who dont understand the reserve thing.

I didn’t know it worked that way either….but that makes sense. I’ve only gotten ~20 items on Ebay so far and all of them have had no reserve.

Ebay psychology is kind of strange, I guess…the way items will get more bids if other people are bidding, and the way people will pay way more than something’s worth because of a bidding frenzy. Personally whether something has a reserve or not doesn’t make much difference to me. I just enter my max bid and that’s it…

I’m going to get some walnut ice cream when I’m at the supermarket today!

in reply to: Squirrel Safari #519433

I don’t know about other states, but its definitely available in California! Walnut ice cream is one of my favorites.

Wow, he looks great! I think he might be the best PYO that you’ve done so far.

don’t worry frozen, we wouldn’t dream of going to Lothlorien, Squirrel Land or anywhere else without you…it wouldn’t be any fun at all…after we invent the transporter, we’ll get you a squirrel visa and we’ll all go together… 😀

Mos def! But we don’t have to invent the transporter, they already have those in SquirrelLand. If you have a visa you just need to signal them to beam you over.

so, do we need to dress in the proper attire before we get in the transporter or will the re-materialization process transform our mundane clothing as well?

Of course! Our clothes will get transformed into the proper Lothlorien style robes. Speaking of that, I believe on the visa application you need to include a picture of what you want to look like as a squirrel, and that’s what you’ll look like once you rematerialize in SquirrelLand. This is the picture that I’m going to include:

Cookies have been sent to SPark, Dragonessjade, Quill, Cheryl, Mimi, Rockerbot, Laphon, and Frozen. I will be making more cookies this weekend, and will send them out Mon! Happy Holidays!

Thanks so much, Nirvana! I’ll be looking out for them! 😀

The cookies arrived today and they’re yummy! Thanks again for sending them. You did a great job on the packaging too…not a single one was broken. 😀 I’ll be copying your packaging technique when I send cookies…

ZOMG!! You got them ALREADY! Sweet! Go USPS! They must still be in overdrive mode for the holidays….I know you live close and everything, but 2 days is awesome!

Mos def! While its true stuff from Windstone gets to me in 2 days, and you’re in the same general area, I was really expecting it take quite a bit longer because of all the Christmas mail.

    Nirvanacat13 wrote:

And you didn’t find any broken ones because Louis ate them all! *helps when I “accidentaly” break some……I think he has a tummy ache* =P

😆 Well, at least the broken ones have no calories… Seriously though, I’d always wondered if cookies would survive the mail system or arrive as a box of crumbs. But you’ve shown that they can arrive intact! 😀

PS Should be sending the rest of the tins out tomarrow! *pending PO’s being open*

You’re definitely doing your share of the Christmas baking! I still haven’t had a chance to do any yet..work’s been too busy…sigh…

I agree with that! I think he’s definitely one of the worst (if not THE worst) presidents in history.

Ah, but its one of those countries where everyone needs a visa or they won’t let you in…and the only way in is via transporter. All visitors get turned into squirrels while they’re being transported…minimizes disruption to their society…of course, you get turned back to your original form when they transport you back…

in reply to: Guilty pleasures… #519270

Ha ha! It sounds like what I’m drinking. Only mine is made out of bittersweet chocolate shavings instead of cocoa. I’d never tried this kind of hot chocolate before, but a friend gave me some for Christmas (yes, opened it already) and its pretty good.
