Yeah… I really wanted to get the emp from the Wicks’n’Sticks at Westminster (since that’s where I got my first ever Windstone and I probably won’t ever visit that mall again once my parents leave Colorado) but when we went it had closed! 🙁 The people there were really nice too.
Aww, man… I wish we had stayed now! Me and my friend were trying to beat the crowd out of the theater parking lot on opening night. We went to the very first showing and I swear the entire teenage population of Colorado was at this theater…
We actually got out of our seats and watched the last few minutes from by the door so we could get out without being run over by everyone who had to go to the bathroom 😆 The lobby was packed with people in pirate costumes carrying stuffed parrots and monkies… and a stuffed Davey Jones doll which was scary but cute at the same time…

One day… one day soon, when I am back in IN with the rest of my babies and get a digital camera, I shall share! My pop took his camera with him to OH, or I’d at least post a pic of Vulcan. (Yes, I’m one of those that names them… the BG just reminded me of fire and the forge 8) )
I can’t wait to do it, everybody else has such great collections and I love to look at them!
When I hear the name Reno and “red” in the same sentance I think Final Fantasy 😆 Love the eyeliner idea! He’s quite a looker.
Black Pearl, hmm? Can we put a pirate sash on the cool little guy?! 😆 He’s just great, and not only for the name!

That’s too bad. The lady said that most of their stores closed down altogether, which is really sad. They’ve got such beautiful displays and all the collections they carry are top of the line.
I think I like the snow a little more now… it hath delivered unto me a BG emp 8)
The store I got it from was awesome. They had a peacock lap and some em-pea’s with lots of purple. I posted about it in the flea market, if anyone’s interested.
Secured my BG emp today and the store I fould him in was excellent. It’s called “Ashley Avery’s Hall of Collectibles” in Westminster Mall, and I highly recommend them if you’re in CO near the Arvada area.
They had a mint mother and male in emerald peacock with the big patches of purple on them. They also had a lap in peacock, but only one left.
The lady was super nice. They keep all boxes and she says they do happily ship, so if anyone’s interested the number is : (303) 425 – 3040.
They alos had a few other little cuties, like a fledge and young in ruby, which I’ve not seen around much.

Yes, yes indeed… These people know how to bribe! I’d most likely go on an expedition to the Yukon for the right dragon.

That’s it, it’s all the butterflies’ fault! 😆
Hmm… any butterfly around here would be very unhappy indeed. I saw a caterpillar on the way to the mailbox (1/2 mile uphill from the house) yesterday… I hope he’s not frozen solid by now.
How do you stand it? I’m ready to lay out and tan myself silly by late April, at the latest.
The talons on that SK are absolutely fearsome… Great pics of a great collection, daveyboy!

Exactly! Where was it at Christmas when I wanted it, I’d like to know? *taps foot* I’m like my mother, cold by nature. If I snuggle the emp, will he keep me warm? 😆
You can have mine! 😡
My father just got relocated to Ohio and he had to leave my stepmom here alone on their ranch in the Rockies until the house sells. She works 8 to 5 all week so I am here until mid July to help her. You know, keep the house tidy and clean for home viewings, take care of the animals, and the like.
And today it snowed. Buckets of snow. It began to hail out of the blue, great big marble-sized hail. I was scrambling to run out and open the gate so the horses could get back in the barn from the field when it began to thunder on top of the hail. We have three huge dogs who are all afraid of thunder, so by the time I had let the horses in out of the weather the dogs had gone nuts and knocked over a table and a floor lamp in the house.
Spent the day miserably cold, then called my little brother back home in Indiana this evening and he said it got up to 90 degrees there today. Where is my summer?!? I think my stepmom’s scared I’ll bail out on her and run home, since the first thing she said after hearing my sob story was:
“You remember that big pretty dragon you liked so much at the mall last year? We’ll go tomorrow and get that for you, okay sweetie?”
She’s talking about the black-gold emp. If this comes through I promise not to complain if it snows four feet and traps me in the house!

*sings* I waaaa~s!
😀 😀 😀
So happy! As soon as I get home from this horrible, snowy-in-the-summer place I am going to order one! Or maybe order one and send it on ahead of me, so I’ll have something to look forward to when I get there…
