Thanks for the suggestions, folks! I haven’t decided yet, but I’m hoping to by the time he sees the vet on Tuesday. I guess there’s no real rush though… I haven’t met a cat yet that really responds to a name, so it’s all for me. I’m just impatient 🙄 And maybe a name will help my dimwit hubby figure out what’s going on. He keeps calling the cat a girl.

Heehee, sorry to hear that! Surely she’ll calm down eventually. I was wondering if mine would be more energetic (or spazzy) once home, but he’s very mellow. He just talks alot, and is a bit of an attention hog. I bet he was someone’s pet before he was found & turned in.That’s funny. I may have to have hubby play DMC3 now so I can see him in action. (I always quit after a couple hours.) 😀

Well, I’m gonna go with Wolflodge’s idea and ask folks here for name suggestions. I adopted a one-year-old kitty from the Nebraska Humane Society (at Petsmart- Yay Petsmart!) on Friday. He was originally a stray, but they had him for a month! Poor kitty, being in that dinky cage for a month. But seeing people’s reactions to the tiny 2 month old kittens, I guess I see why.
I don’t have a CLUE what to name him. I want to stay away from the cliché “Shadow” and “Smokey”-type names. I’m a huge dork, and would love a Japanese name, but it’s gotta be simple enough for my hubby to use (or simple when shortened), otherwise he’ll keep calling him “Trogdor” (and if you get that reference: yeah, he’s a dork… and you may be too :P). But I’m up for hearing anything 😀
Not that it would’ve made me change my mind, but I never realized I didn’t have a male cat’s name in mind. For the longest time, I’ve had my future children’s names, dog names for both genders of several breeds, and there’s a few easy female cat names, plus more snake names (my ball python is Memnoch)… but no male cats. Go figure. 🙄
But back to the point… suggestions for a name?

I do this pretty often :oops:. One more reason it’s great here: I can show off to somebody, and nobody will make me feel guilty about it!

Sorry to hear about this decision, purplecat! I was looking forward to the possibility of an earth dragon :cry:. But I guess I understand it. It’s just a shame. But your PYOs have been just as lovely! I know I can’t buy enough to keep you going, but I’m always happy to buy some :wink:, and it doesn’t sound like I’d be the only one.
Alicorn is the name I’m used to for a winged unicorn/horned pegasus (Piers Anthony uses it in his books.) I rather like that term, but I always have to explain it when I talk to people about fantasy critters 🙄 . So if you do that sculpt, then I could just load up a pic on my ipod (like I do all my Windstones), and just show people what an alicorn is 😀 😀 .
And I’d a baby right away, with the rest following once I could afford them! (Would LOVE a color other than white or black though!)
I really dislike “unipegs” or “pegacorns”. They sound silly to me, and just don’t roll off your tongue as smoothly….

Wheeeeee!! Lookie lookie what I got! The peg came yesterday (or maybe Tues?), but the dragons came today! (Fledgie courtesy of LIH- thanks!) I’m sooooo happy for the old green fledgie! I have them all! The pic I took of him by himself is horrible tho, so he’ll have to share the spotlight a little:
