Okay, so I’m retarded… It came to mind yesterday to check where Magical Omaha is really located. I’ve seen “Omaha” in the names of things before and they weren’t anywhere close, so didn’t really think about it much, plus I hadn’t heard of any store called that before… but they’re actually here! And I’ve shopped there before! OMG I felt so stupid when I saw that who they really were 😳 :oops:. My husband even bought my first Windstones there 5-6 years ago… They just use the name for their online stuff to keep things straight (plus I think it’s easier to spell than Next Millennium… I always have to look up the correct way).

But I stopped in today and picked up an EmPea Sitting Spectral… woot! On Sale! Cuz they’re relocating in a week and don’t wanna move heavy stuff if they don’t have to. I would’ve gotten more if they had stuff that I was looking for.

The guy there was super nice (I realize now I didn’t even ask his name), and we talked for a bit about various things related to Windstone, and he even mentioned Purplecat! (yay PC!)

And only related because it came up in conversation while there…
When did Windstone make it required for stores to keep boxes? He said it was part of the agreement that they had to keep the original boxes in order to sell Windstones. I’m just wondering since the other 2 stores in town (that I’m aware of) that carry Windstones do not keep any boxes (which is why I won’t go to either of them anymore). The one puts stuff in their own flimsy constructs, and the other just finds any box big enough (even if for something else they’re selling).

Probably. But it’s still kinda stupid. Just like him using “dragoneagle” on the mother griff gargoyle. It would’ve only taken a minute to figure out the real names for these since he knows they’re Windstones….

Sweet! I really like what you did. My wolf griff family will be mixed too, though I’ll have the reverse colors for chicks (future tense b/c I haven’t received my purples & haven’t bought my greens yet). I’d be too afraid to screw it up to attempt anything like that though….
