It hink I have to agree. But fact is, everything would have been fine if all materials were kept. I’ve screwed up and threw away myself. Without proof the loss of insurance was all my fault. No one elses.

Thanks for the responses so far! I am sad to be selling, but also happy to know that my babies will be going to good homes. <3

As for the family sets… I kind of want to see if they sell as sets before I offer them individually. If I don’t have any takers, I’ll definitely split them up. I’m kind of silly and sentimental because I’d rather them go together. 😆

Please, please PM me, I PM’d you 😆

Well here we go, all fixed. Overall full pic of the griffon himself will be presented shortly, just need to let the Eye Protect dry so I can take it off first.

Sorry the pics are a little fuzzy, and of course black reflects light a bit as well. But this should give you a good idea how his feet look.

Sections completely rebuilt from scratch include, the ridges and part of the claw on his far left toe on the right foot, the feathers at the top of the left leg, the section of tail between the first and second toe of the left foot, including those little special feathers with the blue, purple and gold. The tail portion between the second and third toe on the left foot. And finally a section of the left foot itself from the top of the third toe going up about 1/2 inch and wrapping around the front of the leg a bit.

Overall I think he looks pretty good, and I am really pleased that even with close inspection the breaks are completely hidden, even knowing where they were, I can’t find them. I just love how he turned out.

Now I just need that poor defaced dragon to make his appearance. LOL!

I will box this guy up and find out how much his return shipping will be, then let you know Pegasi.

Hope you are happy with this repair.

                  Here he is full view.

What his feet looked like before.

I love cats that act like dogs! Mine likes to play fetch and he runs up to answer the door when people come over. I’ve never seen a cat act the way he does.

Maine Coons are known for this kind of behavior, my friend Jim has a Orange and White Maine who fetches, walks on a leash and comes when called.

Chewy could well have some Maine Coon in her, she’s long haired and shows a lot of their known personality traits, and the females are generally small compared to the males, so size isn’t a reference you can use, though the males are huge.

Not sure if your cat is long haired or not Purple, but if he is, it is possible he is also a part MC.

Broken pieces are distressing to all of us. Can you take photos? That could help us guide you, if it’s something you’d like to try.

Yes, listen to Jen. I asked and recieved information just the other day about how to repair unicorns. But I think I’m going to have to talk to Kyrin about the forehead I messed up. (Unicorn Doc to the rescue again it seems 😆 ) and everyone was wonderful.

He was a one of a kind test paint auctioned on ebay in late December 2007.

Another vote here for Blackfire Kirins!

me too! *SQUEEKS* the kirin was fabulous in blackfire but was completely out of my price range 🙁 I vote production! (although if I remember right, Melody said no because it was too difficult to paint for production.)

Here, Here!!! (jumps up and down waving arm and drooling) I agree!!!
