Also on the lighter side: A small town was being flooded. The emergency rescue boat came to the home of a very religious man and said he must evacuate and they would take him to a safe place. The man refuses and says “God will provide”. The Rescue boat comes back two days later, the water is up to the second floor. Still the man refuses saying “God will provide.” Two days later he is on his roof when the boat comes back a third time. Again he refuses saying “God will provide.” The floods continue and he is swept away and drowns. When he comes before God he says “My God, why did you fprsake me?” And God replied, “Forsake you!? I sent you three boats !!”

We have twice a month recycling pick up and in summer weekly yard waste p/u. The rest of the year has either once or twice monthly yard waste p/u. I recycle all my boxes, cans, glass and yard waste and give the peanuts to the local pack and ship just up the hill from me. They can re-use them and it helps them hold the line on costs.
