Sorry Water to steal your thread…just tring to work togeather!
Mine is kinda this idea…
That would be an awesome tattoo, whippet!
Even though I am only attempting my first PYO, I would still like to comment on the gold/silver trim “ban”. I can see where Windstone is coming from with their copyright, but I don’t see too many PYO painting options without gold/silver trim. The figures seem to beg for that sort of trim. Perhaps they could change the molds a bit and add “PYO” on it somewhere? Maybe next to the copyright M Pena? I am painting mine for my own pleasure, but maybe it will end up as part of my estate sale somewhere down the line (rotten kids lol). Even if I sign the felt, it can be taken off. Perhaps something more permanent will help distinguish PYOs from regular production and give the very talented artists (and amateurs) more leeway.

Seems like it would be best to help out people we actually care about. Just my $0.02
I can do 15% off items that are slow salers, but not my full Windstone stock. But not 25% sorry guys. I can also do free shippin inside the US. I can only offer Windstone on sale for a limited time (starting 1/23 for a week) New Years sale!
I would guess Grandio can offer free shipping and %off sales because they have been around for quite a while and they sell other things that can offset the discounts. It’s nice that they offered 25% off. I always appreciated the free shipping, though – that’s why I’ve stuck with them. Maybe (probably) my savings are an illusion, but there’s that psychology again. lol Not to mention, their site is kept updated and it’s very easy to see what they have available. Personally, I hate one picture with dropdown color choices. That’s just me, though.
It’s outstanding and the only Kirin I might own. 👿
eBay will pull the auction if John complains about it, as he is the copyright owner. He should also sign up on eBay for VERO rights. It will make things much easier for him to get action.
The problem is reporting the listing with enough time for eBay to investigate the complaint. People that bootleg movies and cds have gotten smart – they run short auctions, so they are closed before eBay can pull them. eBay can still throw them off, but I have seen people make some quick cash before this happens.
no problem, mimi 😀
Mine offers 25% off. If anyone wants a copy of the email to get the discount, I can forward it. Or try entering “sale25” as a coupon code at check out.
yes, Congrats Nam! *rings wedding bells*
Looks like they listed more this time. Hopefully everyone that wants one, will get one!
Still, it takes an awful lot to get me to pick up a phone anymore. lol I admit it, I’m weird.
I just email them before I bother placing an order. If they have it, fine; if not, I keep looking.
Lokie wrote:Most of the sellers told me they have been meaning to but haven’t done it yet (two of them said they will make it a “priority”). Afterwards, three of the sites did take the listing down.
I’d just warn every buyer to call the website up beforehand if they are trying to get retired pieces, especially if they are adding non retired pieces into their shopping cart at the same time (since one of my suspicions is that some of these sites keep the listing of out of stock pieces up intentionally to get sales on other instock pieces). That doesn’t work with me. I don’t go for bait and switch. 👿 If they have the nerve to be rude to you, they don’t deserve your business. I’ll stick with the places that have good customer service and updated pages. If you don’t make it easy for me to shop online, I will go elsewhere – I hate calling places!
Watergazer wrote:Wow thanks for all the help guys! I’ll definately be looking up that info. As for the tattoo parlor, I may have found one close to me that’s decent. It’s very clean and everyone that has gone there speaks highly of it. I did go visit and looked at some stuff…not too bad, though I’m amazed at how unoriginal or unmeaningful some people can be about ther tattoos…but to each their own.
So, imagine being the tattoo artist – doing their 50th puma or Tazmanian Devil on somebody. lol I’m glad you found a good place to go. I’m sure you will come up with a beautiful tat. Pictures, please!
Has anyone besides me found that most people don’t update their websites and when you place an order, you end up finding out that they are really out of that item? 🙁 I won’t blacklist them, but I sure won’t order from them anymore.
