I thought, since i has seen a few who like to take interesting photos of thier windstones that are so artful, why not make a thread for windstone photography where we can share the different photographs we take of our windstones. outside, in groups, portraits.

Here is my first one:
Babysitting.

And here she iS finally finished and i am so proud. I used mostly Winsor and Newton Finity paints, some Sargent art Metallics, Golden interference, and winsor and newton flow improver:

There is a lot of detail the photos don’t show.

I also took a few photos of the PYO in progress.

I just ran a generic search for Ceramic Dragons. that is how i found it. I started searching other auction sites too.

So I was on Ebay…while waiting for my baby(first PYO) to arive at my house..I thought I would scout out ceramic dragons..maybe i could find one to practice on. So I looked up Ceramic Dragon. As I looked through what was listed..I saw this shot of a white head and thought,”no way.”
So I clicked on it..and it was a pearl white Male dragon. only two bidders..and the photos showed it in pristine condition.
I asked the seller if there was any chips/scratches/rubs/ dulled paint. She siad there were none, it was just as the day she baught it.

A friend bid on it for me. Winning price: $33.57

The Seller must have NO idea what a Winstone is..
