The russet is actually called red flame on the box, and as far as I know was only produced one casting.

After how badly she was neglected in the hospital, there’s no way I’d leave her there for rehab. They didn’t turn her, she got bed sores, not to menntion there was confusion about her meds. I work in dialysis and have a very good relationship with the home I picked for rehab, which is why I picked it. However, thank you for the insight…sounds like your hospitals might be a little better than the ones we have here.

Thanks to all of you for your prayers and well wishes. My mom had her surgery, and it’s very hard to get used to seeing her without legs. Today was the first day she was really herself. Up till now she’s been extremely tired and hallucinating from the medication. She’s still in the hospital, but we’re hoping to get her out in a few days. Unfortunately she has to go to a nursing home for rehab, but I’m hoping it will only be a couple months. Both my parents are depressed and I keep trying to find something to lift their spirits, but not much does now. The doctor doesn’t give me a very good outlook on her as she still isn’t eating. He doesn’t expect her to live thru the year, and that’s been very hard on the family. However, all your warm wishes and prayers have helped, and I’m very grateful for them. Thank you for being there.

I love the Glacier Pearl OW. I would love to see him with some green undertone and called Caribbean or something like that for water. (In case anyone hasn’t followed, green is my all time favorite, especially emerald tones)

This is one of my better ones. I’m not really this tan, but I had an airbrush tan done for a bellydance performance. The photo is a little grainy cause it was scanned.

Thank you all so much for your support right now. Just to update ya’ll on what’s going on, after over 2 weeks of trying to find a local doctor to deal with my mom, I finally found one. She has to have both legs removed a little above mid-calf and is scheduled on July 1st for this. Amazingly enough, she’s taking all this better than any of us. I was ready to go postal in a doctor’s office when I couldn’t get anyone to see her.

However, reading everything you guys said and knowing you’re sending prayers my way has really helped. I’m still over worked and stressed and wondering how we’re going to get through this, but I know everything happens for a reason and we’ll make it through.

I tried to win the beautiful blue mother with the golden egg for her cause she really liked it and blue is her favorite color, but somebody beat me out. Guess I’ll try again if they do another one so she has something pretty to look at.

Anyway, thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

I love both the moma and the fledgling. I noticed the different eyes on each brought out different colors. I think I like the peaches and oranges more on the mama with the lavender eyes, but I’d love to have either of them. Ah, another pipe dream. 😥

I still need the blue & lavender. Haven’t managed to be online for either batch.

I know I’m not well known here, but I do chime in occasionally. I haven’t been on the forum much lately cause I’ve been spending much of my time at the hospital one week for one parent, then the hospital two weeks later for the other. Now, I’m trying to take care of their animals, their household, laundry, and make dinner every night, along with taking care of my animals, work at my job and keeping my bf happy. I have one parent who’s on dialysis and her modality wasn’t working so she had to switch. Now she’s on hemodialysis 4 days a week and tired all the time and still having a lot of issues. It looks like she might loose some toes, and maybe even both feet. I guess we’ll see as time goes on. She just seems to be going down hill.

My dad is diabetic and doesn’t get around well along with having the onset of neuropothy, so taking care of them is a full-time job along with my full-time job (which I need help at but can’t seem to get my boss to hire anyone).

Between working, taking them do the doctor, taking care of my house and their’s, I barely have time to log on to a computer except at work, and there I’m so busy I don’t have time to really look on the forum. Needless to say, I need a vacation and a miracle.

I don’t mean this to sound like I’m asking for pity or acting like I’m the only person who’s ever gone thru this, cause I know I’m not. I also know there are people who’ve gone thru a lot more and come out better than they went in. However, if anyone wants to send some prayers my way, they really would be appreciated and I know there is power in numbers.

Ever though ya’ll don’t hear from me much, I read most of what you say and enjoy being on the forum. It’s my escape, and Windstones are my fantasy/addiction to get away from the real world. Whenever I’ve ordered one and know it’s coming, I can’t wait for it to arrive and open the box. It always makes my day.

                                Anyway, thanks for listening.

I’ve tried to get one of every color, and one of every style. I still don’t have the Emperor or the SK, but I figure the SK is a dream for a while. I also don’t plan on getting any of the one of a kind or really limited colors they only put on Ebay. After that, whatever calls to me that I really want. If I already have like the rainbow mother, but I saw the rainbow curl, I just had to have it. Sometimes it’s the way the colors are done that they appear to almost be a completely different color. Needless to say, I’m an addict.
