Ebay is tricky like that, but I think Purplecat should at the very least be allowed to continue her work for comissions…there has to be some sort of acknowledgement from the buyers though that they KNOW FOR A FACT that are NOT Windstone’s paintjobs and they are completely fan painted.

That is absolute Bull$%*^*, It was VERY VERY clear in her ebay auctions that these were repaints and repairs….absolutely no mistaking them for originals unless the person bidding was illiterate.
AND IF YOU CAN NOT READ OR WRITE THEN YOU SHOULDN’T BE PURCHASING ITEMS ON EBAY!
I think it is RIDICULOUS that someone can’t actually read the whole description of an auction before they place a bid.
This whole deal is STUPID STUPID STUPID!!!!!!!
So sad that there will be trashed windstones, thet wont be repaired…if no one is willing to repair them then they will get thrown away. And no artist works for free!
This is just CRAPPY! If they don’t want you doing repairs and repaints on your own….then they should send you a paycheck and let you be the special repair person for broken Windstones.
Melody and all of the staff at Windstone…this is silly! I protest! You need to work out an arrangement with purplecat! This is unfair and unreasonable!!!!
I think she is the best artist I have seen besides the artists at Windstone. Please don’t break her spirit, please try to do something that can be a compromise!!!!
Why would someone as talented as Melody turn away a fellow artist? I am bewildered and upset.
Purplecat is there any reason you can’t do specifically requested repaints…like in my case. I want a damaged piece repainted?

Maybe if we all called and complained? Anyone up for that? I have spent a LOT of money in the past few months at Windstone directly…and referred others there as well….I have spent at least $2000 in the last two months on New Windstones.
If the customers all stand up and say something maybe we can get this injustice rectified!!!!!

I paid $50 and I wasn’t sure at first….but when I got the packet, I probably would have paid a $100. The brochures I posted were a very small part of the stuff I got. I got all the letters from Windstone, brochures, newsletters, all sorts of neat stuff. I have at least 25 or 30 pages of black and white and color info, and some post cards…etc…
I am thrilled…if this type auction comes up again…I strongly suggest you bid. It came up at about .50 per page….
I hope it is okay…to keep the game going I am gonna throw two more in and then the winner can put her pics in….

I hope not either….Paypal is making me crazy…I refuse to get verified….so I have a limit….well today they raised my limit to $14,000 total….good God! I am sure not planning on spending that much….but it’s really tempting! Windstones are worse than a gambling addiction…
I out sniped Dragonessjade for these on ebay. Dragonessjade, yes there were some extra brochures and after I finish sorting I will PM with what I am willing to share 🙂 But anyway I wanted to share these because they are pretty neat.

Our Tow vehicle, for the cars is a Dodge 3500 single rear wheel, Cummins diesel, 4×4 Laramie. It is white and it is a monster truck. 🙂 We don’t usually mention it because it is a vehicle used to pull car trailers….but you would probably love it. My husband sells Dodge vehicles….
My new Tortishell kitten (you can’t see her orange in the pic) is named “Chewy” at first for Chewbacca and then we decided her name was Chupacabra…but we call her Chewy.
We decided on the name Chupacabra because she is sooooo very bad and she licks and then bites.
A chupacabra is a mythical creature in some ways like a vampire or werewolf.
My other cats are named Tatsu (it means Dragon in Japanese) and Mephistopheles (A character in Dr. Faustus who represents the devil) Stoph is all black with gold/green eyes.
God help you…they are sweet as babies and then turn into monsters…Chewy is sleeping in my arms as I type….hehehehe…not for long…..

You know you are addicted to Windstones when you come on the forum and tell people to stay away from the items you are bidding on, on ebay….and say things like MINE! MINE! MINE!

I was so terrified and actually emailed the dealer and asked how many problems they had with Emperors. It seems like if you pack in the Windstone original box and do the box in a box packing, that most make it.
I saved my box and if anyone wants to borrow the box…and ship back afterward….I can loan it out. I don’t know how practical this would be…but when you spend hundreds, then it might be a good idea….
TC sooo very sorry about your Emperor….I have been dreaming about broken Windstones because I was waiting on an Emperor also and a Scratcher, Sitting Spectral and Rising Spectral…..fortunately, I received my Emperor safe and sound and I kissed him and hugged him and cried a bit for you!
Hope things work out and you get a new one. I actually saved my Emperor and OW boxes because of all the horror stories. So if someone really, really needs a box and could send it back after they use it…I have the two Windstone boxes.
Thank God! I was really fretting this one because of all the horror stories I hear about shipping Emperors. I want to say that Cindy and the staff at Magicalomaha.com are the best. They email you, keep in touch and even send neat little presents with the dragons…..and they pack just like Windstone packs….there were so many packing peanuts between the two boxes that I had to gather them all in a large trash bag!!!!

Yeah for cindy at Magicalomaha.com ohh and the prices are great!!!! $299 for this beauty….
Ohhh and I am POSITIVE that the KINGLETS ARE PLOTTING SOMETHING 🙂
