I just noticed something odd about my little guy! Was having a look at his interference in sunlight when i noticed this:
The left wing tip is gold while the right is silver! You can see silver under the gold, so either the gold was painted by accident or it was decided that he would be a bit quirky! Either way, I love it! XD

You know I think you said this quite well. Even though the ones I got weren’t my thing because of my particular tastes in color, the beauty and detail of these pieces is really remarkable. I think most of us agree that even the ones that weren’t our favorites are still lovely, so I also say thank you and amazing work, Melody and Brandi!
Third times the charm! lol… at least the ones I DON’T want are selling. Otherwise I’m certain my husband would skin me 🙁

Just wondering if/when there might be Rainbow Baby dragons…got to work on completing the rainbow, you know. 😉 And also if you might consider making some mini-keepers in either production colors, like rainbow, and/or a more “natural” color since the tan/brown/cream/Siamese looking ones were awesome.One of the mini keepers I got was very very similar to the rainbow production color so it’s definitely doable.
Melody: would more natural colored mini keepers include more that have designs that make then look like birds? Those were my favorite 😀
I got my dragon on Thursday, but this is the first chance i’ve had to share!
He wasn’t one of my top picks, but he has grown on me! The photos are poor quality and really don’t do him justice. I don’t have a decent camera at the moment! He is a metallic deep sapphire blue, and the depth of colour is phenomenal! His lighter areas are copper and gold, and the tops of his wings are silver/green/copper shift. He has blue spots on his wings, black spots in his neck and silver horns and claws. This guy has light green/jonquil gems and metallic silver-grey eyes.
This might sound cheesy but he makes me think of the sky at sunset right down to his little silver spots being stars. Congrats!
My guy came a few days ago. Unfortunately, my computer croaked so I’m not sure how i can post pics. Mine is in the second pcture, second row, and second from the right. I love him. He had found his forever home. I only got one but may get the second. We’ll see if can convince my pocket book. :S
The one with the banded tail? If so grats he is so pretty! He looks like he was inspired by a macaw parrot to me. I hope you can post pictures eventually.
Wheee mine finally came. She is not one that was on my favorites list, and actually I’ve never even noticed her. Not in the livestreams, or the class photo. But she’s actually very very pretty. Love the eye mask, wing detail, and gold toenails. And the random black marking on her belly, it’s cute ^.^ She has a very interesting black, to red, to a shimmering silver on her wings. I’d only let her go for a specific few

She’s very pretty Siri! I’m glad you pointed out the color transition on her wings- I didn’t see it when I first looked at the pictures but her wings are lovely
I dislike a decent amount [pastels, the really dark ones] but i’m still hoping for one i like off the bat. I didn’t want to pass on them, because I had the money saved and I might not have it saved next time they’re around =3 I’ll have mine tomorrow and we’ll see!

The more I see, the more I’m glad I sat this batch out. There are too many that I don’t like and only a very select few (maybe 5) that I do like so the odds would not be in my favor.
Argh. I hate to admit it but I agree. But this is my first time buying grab bag anything so I took a chance 🙂

He’s definitely my favorite of the two, but I am hoping for a bird-patterned one (like the blue jay/sparrow colored ones) or the mostly black ones. Here’s a better picture of them 🙂
