I would like to squeak for a blue morpho hearth dragon, if someone hasn’t already squared for it 😬
I was like who the.. is this.. lol

I’m not assuming anything.. I flat out know they won’t..
and it seems you’re just lucky… kind of because you keep posting things that go wrong but always end up in your favor..
must be nice.. but I’d love to see this “more right nowadays” because my incident was very recent and neither ebay nor paypal will do anything to help me.. because the “buyer is always right”
actually that means nothing.. the item I’ve had so many problems with had a tracking number.. unless there is some kind of signature verification.. then you are still out of luck if the buyer says they never got the item..
paypal said “oh we believe you that you sent it, but there’s nothing to prove they got it, so this is just a lesson to you to require a signature on everything”
ebay said, “we don’t deal with that you have to talk to paypal”
paypal said, “we’ve refunded the buyer since they said they didn’t receive the item, so you now have to pay us back”
and so yeah.. screwed either way.. so tracking numbers mean nothing..
just saying…

I’ve been jobless for months (technically, in terms of the a tax paying job, well over a year) so until I find a job here and save up money, moving anywhere is not an option. But I still like to waste my time looking at real estate in places I wish I could go, though 😉
So who knows. Maybe by the time everything picks up (if ever… ugh) then Seattle won’t be a such a big stretch. Or, maybe if I can ever afford to visit places, somewhere in Oregon might be better. So many things can happen within a certain amount of time.Oh I’m there with you, I’ve had a couple temporary jobs recently.. but they don’t pay anything.. certainly not enough to save to move
I’ve looked at apartments.com and all those sites.. it’s fun trying to find something good.. but kind of depressing when you find something great and have no way of getting there..
so they could try to snatch $300,000 from your bank account if they wanted to?
I’m so sick of both of them.. because the one transaction they gave the buyer his money back.. just because he said he didn’t get the item even though he did.. so between ebay and paypal I’m out about $600.. and they call every 5 minutes all day long trying to get their money..
well it’s not going to happen until I see my item back in my hands.. so yeah.. not playing with either one of those companies anymore..
Jennifer wrote:I have friends in Seattle too. They had a very, very hard time finding jobs (now mind you that unemployment is up everywhere but it seemed a lot worse in Seattle) and the cost of living is pretty steep for them.
yeah.. like Jen said.. it’s hard to find a job anywhere right now..(I haven’t been able to find one in so long I can’t remember when I had a good one) but the cost of living has always been pretty high in Seattle..
although like most big cities.. there are always suburbs that are better..
my friends said they’d go back in a heartbeat if they could afford to.. and I know I would move from here just as quick if I could afford to also.. we have crazy neighbors like you were talking about.. and people in general here have gotten worse and worse recently..
probably because they keep advertising on the web and stuff how Amarillo has so many jobs and the cost of living is so low and blah blah.. and people have been moving here and the town is growing.. but we don’t have any more jobs and the cost of living is pretty high for the state.. average home prices have actually increased even though the average income is at the national poverty level.. and hasn’t increased..
but I it never hurts to try.. especially if you find a place you love
Kujacker wrote:I could never live somewhere where I couldn’t get a job or if the cost of living was ridiculous.
then you might want to rethink Seattle.. yes it’s a great place and lots of cool things to do.. but I have some friends that just moved here from Seattle..
and yeah they hate it here and would like to move back.. but Seattle was just too expensive for them to stay..
just send Dave a PM: The Castle [Dave].. he answers pretty quick.. and I’m sure he’ll fill you in on when they’ll get new stuff and everything..
If I lived there I would have said.. so you’ve met my dad?
He’s exactly like that, and won’t listen to any reasonable or rational conversation..
what’s worse.. is at the moment I still have to live with him..
I fixed one that was damaged like that.. I had sold it and it broke on the way.. so I got it back and fixed it.. and sent it back to the buyer.. and they were very pleased, said they couldn’t tell it had been broken..
but there are a lot of people here that have fixed things as well
I actually had something similar happen to one I was fixing, I cleaned off the piece and repainted black on the area I fixed and blended into the other black and let it dry, when I went back to put sealer on it, the old paint peeled off, but the new paint stayed
I had to go in and take off a lot of paint to get it all fixed, but it wasn’t anything like that flap cat.. 😮
yes, I saw that one at a store, and only saw the one side and thought they had gotten some special dragon until I saw the other side
I talked to the woman that worked there and they called the owner and immediately removed all the other dragons from the window…I bought that one and emailed Susie about it, to see if Windstone wanted it back, she said no, but that she would inform the “powers that be” about the fading
and then I resold it to someone on the forum that wanted to try to fade the other side so it would all match because the faded color looked really cool..
I honestly can’t remember who that was.. but I do wonder if it worked out.. it would be cool to see
Kujacker wrote:Black forest ham? Also, I believe there is a mountain range in Germany called Black Forest. I wouldn’t think that you could trademark that name, seeing as how much it’s been used.
yeah, the cake, the ham, the clocks and several other things were named that because they came from that region in Germany..
but some of those names have been trademarked by the companies using them to describe there products now, it could probably be used, but probably with a disclaimer that would be a big hassle in itself
