ladyfirebird she looks good like i said take your time,hey even us old dogs can learn new tricks 😉 the medium blue may get lost,maybe red or even light blue or gray?
starhorse nice job though im partial to blue’s,and yes blue eyes would have been lost i like the red good call.
oh you can do it just be simple and go slow,to be honest i cant blend paint all to well so most the time what i do for some shading is crushed pastel chalk,for the foo on her body i used pebbles pearlescent shimmer chalk since she is splended matallic gold i used a brown shimmer for the shading,for the magenta leg/body/back fur i used some pink/gold mica powder(just love those mica powders)
oh all the foo’s are just so foorrific 😉 ok so im done with my momma foo and this was such a fun sculpture with fantastic textures,i did add real peridots into the collar as i love real stones,i had started out with a color scheme in mind but she had a mind of her own though i liked how she turned out anyway.
di think that’s because you think windstone you think of the big production piece’s,i like the smaller size’s of the pyo’s i have done at least one of each sculpture now and the pyo keeper took the longest because it’s the largest piece,i will paint one for my self next but that’s it i just don’t have the patience to paint that sculpture 😈 when i bought the phoenix i had recently gotten a retired production mermaid for some reason i thought it would be around that size not sure why i had that stuck in my brain 😕 😆
cool cant wait to see what everyone does with theirs,and yes i did have a paint scheme in mind 😀 i have to say it this sculpt was a bit bigger than i thought yeah i know never paid any attention to the size just quick bought one before they were all gone 🙂
yay! i got a phoenix this time wish i could have got more than one though sigh,i would love to see the new eye colors i was thinking about buying the metallic teal,but went with the metallic blue/lav as the colors i want to do i think would go better,i see you are all keeping busy though there has been a very short supply of pyo’s i think im having pyo withdrawals 😈 though come december i will be even more busy as we put a deposit on a german shepherd puppy alas i must admit i have missed having a dog around i mean really when im cooking and drop food on the floor i have to pick it up for pete’s sake 😆
waaaaaaaaaaaa i missed them to,i was in montana from aug 7th till the 28th and the cousin i was staying with has no pc(how is that possible?) :shrug:
ok just to impart information you do not really need a macro lens,they now have these high definition converter lens that just clips onto your lens fits from 52mm to 67mm sized lenses they are called raynox universal adapters i have the 350 and it cost me $65.00 you will need to use manual focus but its not that difficult to use and your talking about an object so it wont be moving 🙂 they come in a 150,250,350 and a 450 they are really nice and way cheeper than a macro lens 😀
sorry windstonecollector don’t wear um 😆 yes purple turtle im healing fine my family heals well,just was not expecting something like that,yes im one of the uninsured i will be getting hospital charity to cover the hospital bill,as hubby makes to much for medicade or healthy new york(you can’t make over $800.00 a month)and the surgen say’s he will drop his bill down so im figuring he will cost 3 or 4 thousand,we can afford to give him a hundred a month,he asked my hubby for $500 hubby just laughed at him and said i don’t even have $500 in the bank i’ll give you $100 a month take it or leave it 👿 (i will get a better picture of the uni)
i thought gold was fitting,the body color is metallic taupe,and then i used some brown chalk,the picture does not do her justice my apartment lighting sucks 😳
this is a new unicorn i just painted,im also working on another wolf,sorry the picture lacks but its freezing out and im still healing from a burst appendix so i aint playing outside :nea:
