When I first joined this forum, I came across a page that showed (with pictures) the double box method for shipping. For the life of me, I can’t find it and I’d like to show it to someone just to make sure they package something safely.
Could someone post the link please? π

Let’s see…
Unicorns
Black Young Sitting
Black Baby
Black Mother
White Young Sitting
White Baby
White Mother(Is it just me or are the male unicorns just not as appealing to some? lol!)
Dragons
Black/Gold Lap
Black/Gold Fledgling
(Coming Soon)
Lavender Pearl Curled
Blue Pearl Curled(My favourite colour in general is purple and I love the purple tones on the black dragons. I’ll probably collect only purple-toned dragons in general since those appeal to me most.)
I also have three PYO commissioned pieces on the way, making 13 pieces in total. Two unicorns and one wolf. I’ll probably take pictures of everything at some point, especially the PYOs. I’m just waiting for some new furniture to arrive so I can display them and get them out of their boxes. ^_^
I’ve been thinking of purchasing another dragon lately though. The Black/Gold mother coiled. The only thing holding me back I guess is that she looks as though she has less purple on her than the rest and is mostly a pink/red blend.
Since I’ve mentioned my Unicorns, I may as well tell my first horror story involving a white young sitting unicorn. π
I ordered three unicorns (two black, one white) from someone on Ebay recently and even though they were double-boxed, each piece was wrapped in bubble wrap inside just the one initial box. The white one unfortunately got smashed to pieces (I think due to bad positioning also) but I was just relieved that the black ones were ok since I know they’ve been retired for some time and finding replacements would be hard.
I since ordered a replacement white unicorn from the Windstone store since the cost of repairing it (including shipping) would equal the same cost anyway. I offered the broken uni to Kyrin in the end as a fun project. I’d love to see the finished result. π2Huberts wrote:Misato wrote:Nice to meet you all. π
This is already turning out to be another expensive hobby lol! Since having bought my first two pieces a few weeks ago, I’ve bought eleven more including the three PYO commissions. And I’m still looking for Black Flap Cats lol.
Thanks for the welcome everyone! π
Zelda has one up on ebay.

Thanks for that, I saw that earlier today. I’m actually looking for the other two Flap Cats (the one sticking out its tongue and the open-eyed) so I’m safe for now lol.
Nice to meet you all. π

Hi all! π
I am a “new” Windstone collector from England. I first found out about these beautiful figures a number of years ago when I visited a shop in the New Forest that sold an array of dragons and unicorns. I was always drawn to them since I’ve always had a weakness/obsession for dragons. But at the time they weren’t in my budget so I never bought one.
I did buy my first couple of pieces a few weeks ago, however. It was only then that I found out the make was Windstone as I’d never heard of it before. I recently moved to the area the shop is in so I decided to splash out. π I got the black/gold Lap Dragon and Fledgling Dragon then. I’ve since been back and gotten a couple of white unicorns as well as having purchased some more pieces online (love those black unis!). Through Ebay, I was introduced to a fellow forum member, DragonsCavern, who was selling her beautiful PYO unicorn. I loved her work so much that I commissioned another couple of pieces from her that she may upload in her gallery soon. π I’m super excited about these.
My most recent purchases are the pretty Lavender and Blue coiled dragons. I’ve been checking out the “new items” in the store everyday since I found this site and it looks like I got lucky. I fell in love with them instantly, them being two of my favourite colours. And I really am fussy about colours hehe!
Well, that’s enough rambling from me. Just from lurking a little while, this place seems rather friendly. π

Thanks for the info, her work looks great. I missed those damaged cats but there’s bound to be more at some point. π
Thanks for the replies. I did see those two Flap Cats on Ebay and they are the ones I want but I don’t like the damages mentioned. I’m holding out for better condition ones but I thought I’d ask here just incase anyone had any to sell. π

I’m new to this forum so forgive me if I’ve chosen the wrong category for this post. I read both the Flea Market and Trade rules and this seemed to fit my criteria best. As this is my first post, I’ll throw in a big “hi!” to everyone.
I’d like to find a couple of black Flap Cats. π
The one I would like the most is the open-eyed one but I’d also be interested in the closed-eye with tongue cat.
The condition I’d like is preferably good to mint. I don’t mind minor repairs as long as a good job has been done. I saw an open-eyed Black Flap Cat on ebay but it seems to have a large chip on its wing so I thought I’d ask around here just incase anyone has a better condition one or knew of one around to purchase.
Thanks for any help!
