I could never let my cats be indoor/outdoor, just could not take that risk. There are SO many things that can happen and I do NOT trust people to be kind to animals. Keeping them inside I also know they aren’t going to come in contact with strays/ferals that might have feline lukemia, etc. I start freaking out if I don’t see my two feral cats every night. 🙄
Aww, I’m SO glad kitty was microchipped! Both of mine are, and both are strictly indoors. Cats can slip out though no matter how careful you are, one evening several years ago in a freak mishap, Sneezer was laying in the window and the screen popped out-even though both he and Callie had used that same window for years with no issue. He was probably outside all night long, and THANKFULLY, he just went under my steps and hid until I came looking for him. I would have been heartbroken if someone had taken him in without checking to see if he was chipped. I know you were starting to get attatched to this little girl, but I’m sure the owners were probably frantic looking for her.
Several years ago I had an extremely friendly cat show up one afternoon, it was in the summer so I put some water and food out, and a bed 😳 anyway, he hopped right in for a nap while I started calling around. Got a call later in the afternoon that his family had been found. Apparently he lived 4 streets away, and had been missing for 3 weeks! The family was thilled to finally find him, come to find out they had had him for 16 years!
Oh no! I’m so sorry to hear about your fish Bayoudragon! How awful to watch them dying and not knowing WHY! I know just how you feel, I don’t care if they are ‘just’ fish. I broke down sobbing when my last betta died. Somehow the cover got knocked off the tank and he jumped out…apparently several hours before I got home from work. I hope your other fish pull through!
ROFL! That Batman one is awesome! 😆
Why isn’t June over yet?! 😳
Oooo, that’s awesome! I just love aquariums 😀 And Harley is such a handsome boy!

I also have a male betta in a 5 gallon. Nice to know someone else besides me gives their betta a decent home and not some tiny little bowl.
I know just what you mean! We started with a 2.5 gallon tank, but I switched to a 5 gallon cause I thought the other was a bit small. Cleo seems very happy in his home :* It makes me just SICK when I go down the pet isle in Walmart and I see a little Betta “tank” that holds literally about 4 or 5 CUPS of water, and it comes with a divider so you can put two in there 👿

And to think I almost bought a 2-bulb one without lunar lights from the local pet store for $180! They’d charge about $270 for the rig I just bought on ebay. I am SO stoked right now. My fish are gonna need sunglasses!
Wow! What a deal! 😀 Do you have a picture of your aquarium? (or Harley for that matter? lol) I have a male betta, but just a 5 gallon tank 😳
I’m so sorry for your loss Kujacker. Thank you for sharing the photos of your mom with us, she had such beautiful and kind eyes.
Happy Birthday!
An Old Warrior! ANY Old Warrior! lol-I love that sculpt and winning one is probably my only chance! 😆
Happy Birthday!
Oh poor Harley!! I bet he was sure relieved when he was finally able to ‘go’ after so long! How is he doing now? I hope they were able to just treat him with some medicine. My poor Sneezer was so uncomfortable that midway through the week they gave him some pain meds too-boy did those do the trick! 😆 Keep us updated!!
Aww, the poor boy! I don’t know why he would stop using the door  But I think he would be a LOT happier if you moved his food/water/litter box upstairs. I know you said you didn’t have space, and I know how you feel living in a one bedroom apt myself-but maybe you could rearrange and find a small bit of room? At one point I had a spare litter box in my bedroom because that was the only spot for it-lol Also, my bosses cats have their food/water up on a dry sink, so they jump up to get it. That way their dog can’t eat the food. (she would eat an entire bag if she could! lol) Hopefully if you can move some things that will solve his problems and you can keep him! Good luck!
