Yeah! Glad someone saw this! lol There were 12 when I snagged mine, that might have been all since I was refreshing the store before they went in. It was hilarious, I saw they were in and flew to get one, but it totally slipped my mind that I’d need to make a color choice! 🙄 I think I got Lavender/Amethyist lol There wasn’t time to think 😳

Oh no I totally agree with you DM! I was just saying that anyone that cared about that cat would have had the home, alternate, and vet info updated on that chip-and it seems like little Sarabi didn’t have her info up to date. I’d give it a week, two tops before going ahead and switching all the info over to your name 🙂
I would feel terrible if the owners were actually looking for this cat, but I know that my cats chips contain my phone number as well as the phone number of a friend if I am not available-just seems like the vet should have been able to get a hold of someone that knows this kitty 🙁
And I should add-my vet info is also attatched to the chip number they have.
I feel for you. My bosses cat (aka my ‘almost’ cat) Lola, is 3 years old and literally 5.4 pounds. Her sister Stormy is 8 lbs. No matter what we do she just doesn’t gain weight! (she goes to the vet regularly) I want to see your new kitty! :*
Yeah for a new kitty! 😀 I am really glad you get to keep her since her owner doesn’t seem to be around. I’ve been trying to find the ‘change of ownership’ form online, I found the one for the UK! 😆 But no luck so far with the US, the Avid site in the US is pretty lousy 😛 I *think* that when my boss adopted Lola and Stormy (they came chipped from the rescue) that we were provided with forms to fill out to change the address with Avid. As I recall it took AGES for the address to be changed and to get our conformation letter. I was not impressed 😛 My cats are with Home Again.
I’m shocked that no one has called about that little sweetie yet! I’d be FRANTIC if one of mine were missing-heck, even if one of them is at the vet for a tooth cleaning I bug the poor girls all afternoon needing updates 😆
Aww, you’ve got a smart kitty Ski! Not sure what mine would do if they ever saw a car or human. I know Callie would run and hide, she’s terrified of strangers-but Sneezer is SUCH a little flirt he might go up to anyone. 🙄 I’m just such a worrier, the only way I’d let mine out is if I lived in the middle of no where and had a fenced in area-from the sides AND top! 😳
I think it depends on where you live too, I am a block away from the elementary school, and the highschool is right across the street from that. So there are idiots speeding down the street when school gets out, lots of kids walking past-etc. My mom lives in WA and has a little land around her, back off the busy roads-etc, so her cats are allowed to go out. One of the strays she’d been feeding for months decided to move in, just started comming in with her two cats-lol
