I know you like the hoofers, and I know almost nothing about them. Do the black mother pegasi all have the blue-to-purple wings or are some of them all black? The one on ebay right now has the colors on her wings and I didn’t know if that was the color for all the mother pegs or just some of them? It’s really pretty! 🙂

I have a large birdwing siamese flapcat mint condition, no tag that I bought not realizing that he was a duplicate! I would like $260 for him plus s/i, or obo. I don’t have his box but I do pack my Windstones really well! If you are interested, let me know! I don’t mind shipping to Canada.
Any chance of a new tiger? (I really love tigers!) Maybe like a winged tiger? A fliger? (They could use a lot of public awareness and protection right now too, or they will all have wings!) Just a thought!
Thanks! I’m getting a new display cabinet, so when I get it all together, and get the sunrise lap, and learn to post pictures again (a tall order indeed!), I will post pictures! It may be a while yet, I have to relearn and this time write it all down! I hope by early next week, I’ll be able to do that! 😆
Will there be an announcement when we no longer have to pay the tax? I have postponing a couple of major purchases because I feel that I have already “donated” enough taxes to the cause and if I can see the light at the end of the tax tunnel, I am encouraged to hang on *fingers raw and bleeding* That’s why I was so hopeful that this was finally IT! But, no. Hopes dashed again. 😥 BUT! At least there is still hope for soon! (My deepest sympathies for the folks stuck forever with customs!)So I will wait more quietly and cheer when it’s time!
So is the forum separate from the online store? Because where ever stuff is sold from, I would think that is where the tax is charged from. So then where is the online store if it isn’t on the forum? If it is in Alberta, and not in Oregon at all, or California, wouldn’t Alberta have been charging customs and not a California sales tax? That doesn’t make sense. Am I missing something? If the entire factory, forum, online store, and all, is going to be based in Oregon with no tax, then there shouldn’t be a sales tax at all period. If the forum doesn’t have anything to do with the store, then it’s irrelevant to the tax, and I still want to know at what point the wretched tax will be done with. Look, I adore my state and ordinarily I don’t mind paying the same taxes everyone else HERE has to pay. But for instance, I can’t buy extra LP’s for anyone else on the forum because no one else in the US wants to repay me for the sales tax, so I can’t get a “you watch the store for me and I’ll watch out for you” buddy, it always has to be one way because of the tax! That’s only one social disadvantage! Each state has its problems and if I ask someone in Kansas to pay the going store price plus s/i and the tax, they think I’m adding on a profit! No, it’s just the .825% that goes to California’s budget problems. That isn’t Kansas’s problem! Sorry, off on a rant! Just frustrated!
Main point is, the store has been California based and has had to collect the tax, a bookkeeping headache. If they are now going to be based in Oregon, a non-salestax collecting state, they don’t have to collect the tax. At what point does this happen? The forum, online store and all, move to Oregon on the 30th of May, effectively and for all intents and purposes, begin to sell dragons and other wonders to the rest of the world from Oregon. Is the store not going with the forum? Where will it go instead? If it does, it will be in taxless Oregon. I don’t see how it can go with the forum, sell stuff online from there, and still charge a California tax! If so, please explain it to me! Also, when does it change?My question still is, what determines when the factory “no longer has a presence in California”. If that is May 30th when the forum is moved, then anything we order from the online store after that date should be tax free, should it not if the “store” is now officially in Oregon which is tax free? If the laws change, we will deal with that when the time comes, but for now, Oregon is tax free, and what we order online in California from Oregon is tax free. It shouldn’t matter whether every brick and dragon is in place yet, the shipping address is still out of Oregon once the store is moved, is it not? So the tax should not be charged any more either. Not that I have any vested interest in this, you understand, no more than the few $$$$$illion I have spent on taxes already and want to spend on Windstones instead! 😆 Am I right?
Melody, when the forum moves on the 30th, does that mean that the pore Californians burdened so long under the wretched sales tax will at last be free free free as of May 30th? Or must we wait more time to be yet unnamed? 😆
I just want to crow a little! *just a little* I think I must be the only one to have all of the tabby cats!(The new ones that just came out) I have the green-eyed, the orange-eyed, the yellow-eyed tabbies and the blue-eyed siamese! They look so cute all lined up looking at me! I am so pleased with myself! *doing happy snoopydog dance* I just wanted to share!
