I don’t know who “Aeris Windchaser” is, so I would presume not. 🙂 “Aeris” is simply a Latin word meaning air, atmosphere, ether, or weather. ^_^

Whippet: Sadly, at this time I no longer do any art/feater trades, though I do appreciate the offer. 🙂 I still have quite a stock of feathers, too (too many, if you ask my mother 😉 ), but if there comes a point that I’m in the market for more, I’ll certainly let you know! 😀

Hey all! I admit I’m more of a lurker than a poster (life has been keeping me INCREDIBLY busy), but I thought I’d share my first “Paint-Your-Own.” He’s nothing fancy, but he was quite the learning experience (and it’s very very “weird” (in a good way!) to paint someone else’s sculpture. I’m so used to 2D art (see http://www.DreamSpirit-Studios.com that this was a really refreshing experience for me!)
I hope you guys like “Aeris”: I’m really excited to try my hand at another PYO soon!

I’m so glad he got there okay! (And no more “broken” than he started out XD), and I’m glad you like him. 🙂 The box I got him in originally was labeled “Jade” so that was the name I was going with in my description (and I don’t have any emerald/jade orientals for comparison so I went with what I remembered him being labeled as).
Regardless, I would love to see photos of him once he’s repaired! 😀 Give him new life, oh Whippet! XD
It’s a pity my heartfelt intention to pack him “well” couldn’t magically have repaired him enroute, but I appreciate that you appreciated my intentions to make sure no further breakage occured. 😉 It’s a pity so many Windstones that get shipped have people “cutting corners” in packing things securely. 🙁

Here are the photos of the White Hatching Emperor! I can’t see any scratches/cracks/paintloss, etc. He’s in really gorgeous condition!
The _only_ thing I noticed is a very small spot where it seems as if the original mold had a very very slight recess/defect on the back side of the egg. Since it appears to have been something from the factory (rather than anything from mishandling), I’d still consider him *MINT* I never noticed this in the entire time I’ve had him, but even though it blends in with the rest of the “egg texture,” I thought I’d bring it up. 🙂

Below should be four photos I just took (please tell me if they don’t show up). I don’t see any rubs, cracks, breaks, or anything of that sort. The dragon himself looks as pristine as can be.
The ONLY thing I see is incredibly minor, but I feel right in bringing it up so you are 100% informed: There are a few extremely tiny scratches on the back of the egg. I used a quarter for reference so you can see how tiny they are (and they aren’t deep, and rather blend into the “egg” texture). They are on the back side of the egg in the third picture, but they’re so small they don’t even show up, so I took a close-up just to make sure. They are very, very small, and might very well have occured at the factory, and are only visible under very, very close examination. I’ve never noticed him the entire time I’ve had him, but I wanted to let you know.
If you would like any additional photos or anything, just let me know! And if you’re interested in him, let me know ASAP and I can put him on hold for you.
And as is the usual tagline: any “white” you see on him is a glare from the light, not missing paint or anything of that nature.

I see that all the original “family” of Windstone dragons are now avaialble in the hybrid emerald-peacock, and I’m wondering, HOPING there are plans to release the Emperor in that color as well. Do you have any idea if this is in the works, Melody?
