Ahem. My hard-drive is fixed. Barring any more disasters, we’ll see what’s in my camera to post tonight.
I am still in lurker mode, just so you know.
There will be pictures of my- I mean… Windstone’s one and only jade emperor this evening.
Once this thread reaches 40 pages, I am going to start a new thread, and take the pictures off my hosting client. In other words, if you want those pictures I have posted previously, you had better save them.
Sneak peeks may be posted randomly from now on. With the move ramping up, I can’t guarantee pictures being posted on friday because we are all insanely busy. I will post them until we officially close down here (which shouldn’t be too horribly far off).

Well, both rainbow old warriors and laps are getting detailed currently. Shouldn’t be too long now.
Remember, folks – if you want one when they go up, GRAB one. This doesn’t just go for these, but it goes for everything limited production in the store. It is going to be a very long while before we can make more – so if there is something you’ve been waffling over getting, grab it. Because once we sell out, that could very well be it!

I’ve been to Murphys! I visited Ironstone vineyards, and stayed in the downtown area. It is a very nice little town!
And I know all about the lakes! It’s one of my *favorite* features about where I live. I’m a mere 15 minutes from lake Shasta, and about 20 minutes from Whiskeytown Reservoir. They both have awesome largemouth bass fishing, and tons of bald eagles and ospreys, and other wildlife.
…now I want to go bass fishing. ;_;

Well, this just goes to prove how unpredictable the factory can be. The rainbow old warriors are probably going to be finished first. Still probably a week out from hitting the store, but they are moving along.
This is important for you collectors to know –
If you want one, when they go up you’d better grab one, because after this last round of limited production stuff, it is going to be a while before we can make more (or even if we make more).

You should be really close to Chinese something out there!I’m not ‘back’. My laptop is still fried. I still have no internet access away from work. Aside from breaks and lunches, that’s about all the computer access I get. Only reason I clambered onto the board today is my phone was quiet, with no messages (or other crisises) to respond to… for a change. I’m also going home to northern California on friday to take care of some business.
And yes, we are. I’m just trying to telepathically influence tonight’s dinner selection. 😛
We are moving because we can’t afford to stay in LA.
Plus LA sucks. Bigtime.
Corvallis has lots, and lots of mountain climbing, hiking, camping, and hunting opportunities. Can’t do any of those in LA. I can’t wait to get to Oregon!

Sadly, the jinx of the jade emperor has just gotten worse.
The hard drive on my laptop toasted itself last night. I now only have computer access at work. Communication is now next to nil.
This means I now can’t use my camera because there isn’t a media card reader here at work I can use.
This means that sneak peeks are on hold until further notice.
Sorry guys. 🙁
A bunch of you an advance warning…
There are rainbow laps being made in one of the painting booths as of friday. Only reason I didn’t share pictures is because they only have one color on them so far, and don’t look like much.
Please don’t nag Melody about when these are going to be released. I’d guesstimate they are a week and a half to two weeks from hitting the store, minimum. And that is a *guess* only at when they will be done. That they are on the painting deck means they will be done.
This is to be followed by rainbow old warriors.

I’m taking a hiatus from the board. With the exception of catering to one commissioner, and the sneak-peeks.
No one reason. Just need to kick-back a little, and maybe go to take care of some business back home in northern california… Give some support to some friends in need of it… Prioritize things to do with the upcoming factory move… just a bunch of things I need to be paying more attention to than I have.
With any luck I can come back refreshed, and ready to rock and roll.

Make it so!Can’t make the blackfire ki-rins so. They are difficult to paint, and not a good candidate for a production color. Deer colored ki-rins, however… that I can do.
I will post the pictures I had intended on posting tonight monday evening. Provided this spell of absentmindedness and the jinx of the jade emperor wears off.

I never said you couldn’t have a personality. However, singling a person out for a dislike of something is both immature, and totally not warranted. Flashing RAINBOWZ RULE11!!1 in bold, bright colors, then singling me out for my dislike is very likely to grab my attention and in a bad way. It shoves it down my throat, and that isn’t a feeling I like. I suspect you wouldn’t like it if I posted a picture of a peptol-bismol colored old warrior and said LOLZ DRAGONMASTERS FAVORITE DRAGON, now, would you?
*sigh* Well, I am beginning to think that jade emperor is jixed, and doesn’t want his pictures taken. I did take pictures, but conveniently left it sitting at my painting booth at the factory. In lieu, here’s a picture with a bunch of stuff to look at.

Because it doesn’t LOOK like a rainbow.
A real rainbow in the sky is flat up GORGEOUS. A really stunning one should take your breath away, and is a true wonder of nature. It is usually against a spectacular backdrop of darker clouds as a storm rolls away. Trying to imitate that on a dragon is tacky. The colors we use can’t even begin to come close to what a real rainbow looks like, and in fact is as ugly as a real rainbow is beautiful.
