Here is my blue morpho collection at present. I really love this color scheme on the male dragon; I think he wears it best of all the dragons. 🙂
How about Blue Morpho fantasy unicorns? They could have black on their legs, manes, and tails like a bay horse, but with dark blue bodies blending to light blue on the belly.
As for more naturalistic color patterns, how about perlino or a deep rich blood bay?
So, 30 years later I finally got my colt. 🙂 She has coppery bronze sides, dark legs, and a white “cloak” with gold spots around it. There are some purplish tones around the edge of her cloak (hard to photograph) and a raven tattoo on her back. I think she’s lovely, and is one of my favourites. That said, I would be open to trading for a colt I like even more, but I would be very picky.

Darn it! I was hoping to get the dolphin one. It would have matched nicely with my blue-eyed striped dun safari baby.
I think I will receive my colt today. Customs finally released the package after holding it a full week!

I was so surprised that I won him. He can make friends with my Volcanic old warrior.
I’m still waiting for mine in southern Ontario. According to the tracking number, Customs has had it since Tuesday morning. 🙁 I’m sure I will get hit with a hefty fee. I just wish they would be quicker about it. My only consolation is that several of my favorites haven’t shown up yet, so one might be mine.
I have been annoyed by this “service” (yeah right) as well. I would much rather take my chances with customs waving my item through without charge than always paying customs plus an additional fee to Ebay.
The ONLY situation that I have encountered where the Global Shipping Program is actually helpful is with “U.S. shipping only” sellers that don’t offer international shipping except through the GSP. In every other instance it is just a moneygrab by Ebay.
WOW, that zebra one is super gorgeous! Don’t despair, Natashavonlemke, as soon as people like me get our colts, I’m sure you will get several trade offers. Yours is one of my favorites.
Now I just have to stare impatiently at my mailbox for the next week or two. *crosses fingers for a fast delivery*
Aw, don’t cry drag0n! There are lots of us who would love to get the fjord (and other safari-style colts), and would be happy to trade the bright and crazy fantasy colts to get it. 🙂
I agree with the others, just give him a wipe with a soft cloth dampened with warm water. Be sure to scrub out all the little details.
I bought a male pegasus from a smoker. He was a dull yellowish cream color when I got him, but he turned right back to bright ivory white after a gentle cleaning. The difference was quite dramatic. I hope it works out the same for your gargoyle. 🙂

One of these things is not like the others…
Zephyr is dark metallic grey and green one with orange accents and silver dorsal scales. He will stay with me. Vivid is bright green and turquoise with orange and purple accents and is way too neon and bright for my taste, so that that one will be up for trade.
With these two mini keepers came the cutest fuzzy. It’s got a shamrock hat! I think that’s hilarious.
Seeing that they were almost sold out, I caved and bought a second one. Now if only the first one would arrive already…
