That would be awesome. And I’m sure none of us would mind an awesome dragon with a few flaws! Expecially…mumble…fledgies…mumble….

Oh Dragonfeathers, I glad they got there all right! Thank you again so much for fixing them for me. I’ll watch this thread, and maybe next time, I’ll be able to fix them myself. (with 6 cats, a dog and a toddler, I imagine there will sadly be a next time. )

You gals and guys are just wonderful. Thanks for the sympathy and understanding. Dragon, I just might take you up on that offer. Hubby has tried to repair some of the chickies, but they just don’t klook the same, sigh.
Most of the lotr stuff was noble collection, but I figured they had stopped making them. I’m glad to find out, most of what was broken is still available….when I eventually have money to replace them.
And the windstones were not actually on the shelves, but on a stationary book case underneath the shelf that fell…but the upper shelf falling knocked them all out of their shelf, and them falling on each other is what damaged them.
As for the dolls, I was able to repair all of them pretty successfully, and a friend of mine that does doll repairs will probably help with what I couldn’t do.

You ever had one of those days?
Woke up with a cluster headache on Friday…terrible nasty things, feels like you’re being stabbed on one side of your head everytime you move, and no meds help…none… Manage to get through work all day, and at 430 I get a call from my hubby. There’s been an accident. First thing he’s says is that it doesn’t involve our son, our cars, or any of the animals…good. Well, apparently the shelf on my wall…that he put up and was supposed to be really sturdy, fell. There were two shelves. The top one contained windstones, including all of my griffy chicks and my rainbow young dragon, as well as all of my lord of the rings pretties (candle lamp of lothlorien, arwen’s necklace and holder, phial of galadriel), and my anastasiamusic box. The bottom shelf had about 8 of my Asian Ball jointed dolls (think 2-500+ a doll).I wanted to cry. Kept it together until I got home, and nearly all of my griffy chicks, which were all minty mint, now have chips, rubs, and pieces missing. My rainbow dragon’s horn is gone. The LOTR stuf all shattered, irreparably (and mostly irreplacepable at this point). Anatastia music box in half…and while most of the dolls survived relatively unscathed, the rarest, oldest one, broke all the fingers on one hand, and his elf ears….
That’s when I did cry.
Hubby tried to fix the griffy chicks, but some are missing pieces we couldn’t find. Doll was fixed, but no longer mint…
I know that compared to all eveyone else’s woes, and even my only family problems (lots…), it’s no big deal, but it’s kind of like salt on the wounds….
Sorry, just wanted to rant.
