It makes me giggle to think that I casted these griffins right where I am sitting now, under the desk of my computer…thanks for all the comments…
wow, trying to figure out the new forum here … hmmm,… lessee if this works:more creatures for my book:
Sapienta race called “Sahal” (spoken Saaal). Well, race is exaggerated. This godlike creature is only one of a kind, with two heads. Wheter those two heads are sepparate, male and female, twins or one is up to you. Sahals do not make a real appearance in the novel in person. But as water elementals they are an important part of the legend. They are also some of the only Sapientas (five in all) who least like humans. Along with the others they are part of the big peace fight. they are aquatic residents that can survive on land for some days. And they will be the biggest creature/worm I will dare put in my novel. Anything bigger is just nonsense.
The Sapienta Maluns were formerly plain Unicorns. I thought that to be waaaay to lame. Hence the alterations. Maluns are Nature Elements and along with the Lumais and other Sapientas Peace fighters in the great war. These exist as a couple with their children and their accompagnions, the dreaded Pseudos. The Maluns make an actual appearance in the novel, this couple is named “Curahs” and “Ceileen”
formerly known as my Leontaurs. This is the revamped design. An Illustration for my novel. Although these creatures only appear as statues they play an important role in the Legends. And I’ve wanted to flesh out all and always enjoyed their form. LIke almost all other Sapientas they have a brute appearance but are gentle beings. AFter all they are peacefighters.
Lumais exist in a small bunch and are ageless but also not reproducing (they appear male-ish but their origin is unknown)
Lumais are fire elementals. In this sketch the tail is too short, usually it would be twice as long. Please do not use this design and artwork in any way.

“Pseudo, auch bekannt als Begleiter der Maluns, ist nicht etwas, das man ein richtiges Wesen nennen kann. Sofern es nicht gebraucht wird von den Maluns so vergräbt es sich unter einem Baum. Die Maluns sind auch die einzigen, die ein Pseudo beherrschen können. Pseudos haben keine inneren Organe(auch keine Knochen) und dementsprechend kein Gewissen und auch keine richtige Sterblichkeit (sie überleben Feuer, Frost, Schwerthiebe, etc). Wie gut sie überhaupt sehen und ob sie eine höhere Intelligenz haben bleibt unbekannt. Man weiss nur, dass sie nicht sprechen können und, ganz wichtig, dass man sie nicht ansprechen soll.
“Addressing a Pseudo” ist dementsprechend auch das Sprichwort: er war doof und hat sich seinen Tod selber eingebrockt. Ein Pseudo zerfetzt seine Opfer regelrecht, mit seinen Füssen durchstösst es den Brustkorb und verschlingt einzelne, abgetrennte Gliedmassen. Wer von einem Pseudo getötet wurde, hat auch keine Chance, jemals beerdigt zu werden. Das Pseuo verteidigt den Körper über mehrere Tage, solange bis es ihn vollständig zerfetzt hat. Sollte es durch irgendetwas abgelenkt sein, so ist es gewiss, dass es den Körper wiederfindet und (ausgräbt) und sein tun fortsetzt.
Pseudos können nicht klettern. Wer also ein Pseudo angesprochen hat, kann sich auf einen Baum retten, allerdings sollte man sich bewusst sein, das das Pseudo Tage, Monate, gar Jahre unter einem Baum ausharren kann. Den Bann eines Pseudos kann man brechen, indem jemand anders als der gejagte, einen vertrockneten Ast vor ihm in den Boden steckt.Dies gilt jedoch nur für die Vorfälle wo man aus Versehen ein Pseudo angesprochen hat. Von den Fällen in welchen die Maluns einen Befehl abgegeben haben besteht kein Bericht eines Überlebenden und ist dementsprechend relativ undenkbar.
Im Schnitt begleiten 3-5 Pseudos verdeckt ein Maluns, es ist unbekannt wieviele von ihnen “vergraben” in den Wäldern lauern. Es besteht nur das Gerücht, dass ein Pseudogeweih, das mit Moos überdeckt ist, kein lebendes mehr birgt.

my boy managed to coax the printer into runningOur school had thrown out all the oldies and I took pitty on one. The printer was so thankful he went into instant problemless running mode.

officially the NR 1 is the spotted one, but tabby is the first one I called a “better-real” cast and that I colored first. The spotted one actually had a few imperfections such as broken beak, which I then fixed and decided to paint.

Printer’s working!
Ok, he swallows ink like mad and is not superb quality, but A a friggin 2! we killed all local craft stores trying to find A2 paper and they all were like “we dont sell that regularely, I mean, are there even A2 printers?” me: yes I haz one!I finished coloring two more griffins and my boy took pictures of them.
I will ebay the two brownish ones tomorrow or tonight.

I made… 70 last night. Can you imagine, writing 70 x Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, I thought I’d go mental. Maybe I have… lol
anyhow, today my tableneighbor and good friend nudged me and shoved over 3 yellowish, parchment like sheats.

So I filled them up today, despite being half sick and having a presentation. Its a Taur, a Griffin and a… curly cat 🙂
They will be for FC. and drawing them felt like drawing on tissue paper, the paper is rather rough and fine. I kind of liked it, but just for a change, no way I will be further using this. The paper comes all the way from Thailand bytheway.
today my school also threw out lots of their old stuff.
and I snatched this (my boy had to come by car and pick it, thanks hun!)
the teacher said it was still functional (needs cleaning) and the ink is spensive and we need to find the right cables and hope it really still works,…. but yes, that is an A2 printer. Ink printer, ok, but A- a – friggin – 2.
For people not common with sizes, take a normal printing paper lettersize and multiply by four.
If this works I’m gonna pee my pantsoooooohhhh!
and you’re sure he’s properly tamed and wont take an… excursion himself at night? I see no chains… hehe…lol 😉

thanks all for the comments, I’m a bit non talkative, so I’ll just leave you with the next two: casted griffin 1 (with first try bubble beak and ears, cast 2 came out perfect) and original on the right (slightly casting pocess mutilated)
