I bumped this cause it was mentioned in the broadcast and I was wondering if this was still possible.
Hi all. I’m trying to decide to buy an electronic pet door. I want my dogs to have their freedom (and quit shi**ing in my house) but I don’t want my cats out. Now I know there is a chance that one of my sneeky cats would try to slip out with the dog but I’m hoping they wont. So I have found the Staywell electronic pet door that unlocks with the sensor key and the dog can push the flap and it says it is very good at keeping other animals in or out. The other is the Power pet door that automatically opens for your animal when it senses the sensor key. I did read on this door that it might not be as good for keeping other animals in or out. So I would like to know if any of you have these doors, had these doors, know about these doors to help me with my decision. Thanks!
Doctors are a sore spot for me right now. It seems that every Doctor I have come around is an idiot. My grandma was is the hospital this week for kidney failure. She has had 7 bladder infections in 4 years and has been sick. The ER Doc said he could’t believe that her regular Doctor hadn’t put her in the hospital yet. Now She has to be on dialasis for I don’t know how long! 👿 👿 👿
Anyways this is not about me so I will shut up now, but I will say Good luck to you Lupin. Congrats on your bundle of joy! Hopfully from here on out you will have Doctors that know what the h*ll they are doing! Oh, and congrats on your Rainbow young. Have you seen the silvers?Hope your not like my family and have a knock down drag out fight! I hope everything goes your way and you can relaxe. Drama and everything it causes is just draining!
WOW, the peach one reminds me of 50/50 ice cream bars, you know the ones with the orange on the outside and the creamy ice cream in the middle 😀

You can wait or get something else, up to you. But if you do want to wait for the keeper, if need be, I can push the ship date back to give you the time to paint (though if you’re like Adarasky, that won’t be a problem :wink:). Let’s give it a bit more time before deciding on that.

Ohhh, words can not express how I feel for you. I had a similar situation happen. There are no words that I can say to make you feel better. You did something good for another animal and you paid with the lives of both.
Hugs, and please know that the dog you adopted was unfortunately messed up, probably by some human being. Don’t blame yourself or the dog…it was probably whatever happened to that poor dog, before you offered it a home, that led to this sad loss.
My husband and I purchased a sad German Shepherd pup that lingered for months at a pet store. We thought we could train her. We worked hard to get her adjusted, but in the end she killed a Min Pin and injured another…..and we were scared she would get out and hurt a human child…..we had to have her destroyed….this was 14 years ago and it still lingers in my heart.
I know your are suffering and I hope that you understand that it isn’t your fault and you must move on…and don’t stop rescuing dogs! If you need to talk..pm me…I have been there and there are no words I can give you to make this better! I can only offer a shoulder if you need it!
Thanks. I’ve had some bad luck with animals the last month. Before this happened we had adopted a antoher dog on Dec.22 and she was only 4 or 5 months. We got her home and she was sick, ended up having Distemper so I had to put her down the second week of January. I know you say don’t stop rescuing dogs but I don’t think I can handle any more right now. No more death! I’ve had too much death in the past year and that doesn’t just include the animals. Besides, my dad told me that his wife (they just got married and don’t live together) was gonna lose her house and she took all the equity out of it so the payments are too high for them to pay. Well anyways, she has an old dog, about 11 or 12 and he may not be able to keep the dog at his place cause the dog is medium to big.(mobilehome park rules)So we may need to help them out with her dog. For now I have my goldy mix(who thinks she is a little lap dog) and my other terrier mix-not to mention the cats who never leave me alone! Thanks for all the help. I’m starting to feel better and realize he’s in a better place probably kicking back with my father-in-law!
