I just got off the phone with a rep from the Coaster Comp and she said the limit is 10 pounds per shelf. Then she said it is 15 but they don’t want to tell people that cause it all depends on how you place your things on the shelves. Now I need to figure what piece weighs what so I can put my stuff up. I think I am still gonna go to a glass comp and see if I can get something stronger. Anyone have the round abouts on what the pieces weigh. I forgot.
Maybe I will try and call the company. If I don’t get anything from that I’ll go to a glass company. I have to do that anyhow cause I need to get the mirrors. I’m not sure if it is tempered. Maybe I’ll get new glass. My husband suggests that we put good sized rocks on the glass for a bit to test the glass.
I know, another curio question. But hey, I don’t want my pieces going splat, crunch , break!!!
I bought two curios made by Coaster Furniture. They were missing the mirrors so I got them for $179.00 a piece. This is from a small store and they had no info on them. I need to know the weight limit for the glass shelves. The shelves are 17 inches deep, 27 inches wide and they are 3/16 inch thick. Please measure you shelves and give me info!!! 😆 I know I could probably call the Coaster Furniture Company but I don’t know the name of the Curio or have a number for them to look it up. Here is a pic:

Yah, I e-mailed herr last night and got the reply this morning that she wanted $700.00 for the white lap. I told her that was way too much for that piece but thanks anyway. Yesterday a white lap went for $250.00 on e-bay.
I just got a reply back from the person selling the white lap and they want $700.00 for him. ARE YOU KIDDING!!!!! They must be in a dream world. The one I was watching on ebay yesterday went for $250.00. $700.00 LOL!!!! 😆

I collect Windstones, Dragon Keep, a few of the Blue Sky Clayworks Dragons and Castles, Misc. Dragons and Castles, DVDs, CDs, Snowglobes with Dragons, and Eeyor and Dragon ornaments for Christmas. I also have a box of Eeyor but that stuff has been in there for 3 years.
Do you have it on wood or glass? Mine will be going mainly on wood and I don’t want it to mess up the finish. Oh and what about the felt.
For those of you who use it, does it mess up the felt? Are you able to move your Windstones when ever you want or once you stick them down they have to stay there? I’m wanting to know cause my husband got a new surround sound in the living room where my dragons are and I would realy like to protect them.
