I got two new beauties! One of them I got very lucky on. I had bid on this beautiful silver lap dragon on ebay, and lost by $2. A few days later the seller messages me and says the high bidder backed out, I got a second chance!!! I had a pretty good sized ebay bucks certificate, so after shipping, she only cost me $193!! She just came in today and I’m so unbelieveably happy!
I also found another piece I didn’t think I’d find for a long time-a beautiful red fire scratcher from the wonderful and awesome Windstonefan. He smells like incence too ^_^ These two were at the top of my wishlist and I’m stoked to finally have them.
I need to get glamor shots later. For now they are hangin out on my desk where I can see them every day ^_^
Awww it’s so great to see my old Silver Lap in it’s new home, I was hoping you’d post pictures here! 😀 I was so relieved when I heard it made it there in one piece! The Red Fire Scratcher is a lovely contrast to it. 🙂
Both my Dad and I collect Star Trek ornaments, though he has a lot more than I do since I just started collecting them this year.
Oooh I am a huge Trekkie (Original Series only though- so, perfect!) and I would buy one from you but I already have one! And I’m getting a 2nd one for Christmas (the first one I got I’m keeping as a mint condition collectors item, the 2nd one I will open and mess around with haha).

They are branched off from Lloyds of London. Accidental breakage and earthquake coverage are particularly important to us.Does anyone here use this company that might be able to vouch for them or could you guys tell me what you use and if you’ve ever had to file a claim/how it worked out.

I have been on the other websites and found nothing close to what I have listed. I need to get these fine and rare peices on E-bay or if any one is interested you can contact me direct or thru hereIf you just respond to one more person you can post your URL. I’m curious as to what you have. Could you maybe at least describe some of them to us?

Windstone tries to have new production pieces available at dealers for a while first before they offer them in the online store. Plus factor in the move and nothing is in stock at the Windstone store for a while longer.
Yeah I know they do that, but I saw them in the store listed as ‘out of stock’ so I thought maybe they had had them up at one point and just hadnt restocked.

They are! They both even had a little card with them from Windstone explaining the Ki Rin’s origins. Very, very cool. They were a great find and I love them. The previous owner had had them in storage for about 10 years!
My husband was funny though, hes not sold on them (hes never liked the Ki Rins) and when he came home and saw the opened cardboard box he knew I had gotten them in the mail. I was busy when he came in and when I met him in the living room I asked if he had noticed them (I already had them on display) and he said that he’d seen the baby one but didnt see the mom. What he thought was the baby was actually the mother Ki Rin. I showed him the baby and he was shocked “Its so tiny!”
I just got my female and baby Ki Rin in the mail today!
They are even cuter in person. Now if I can just find a male!

I gotta admit that I was eyeing that mother kirin myself. I asked the seller a lot about her. You’re pretty much getting a brand new mother kirin. She has tag, box with plastic bag, and little display card. She said the paint, horn, and felt pad are perfect too.Yeah I know, thats the biggest reason I went for them. I rarely buy Windstones from ebay. I’ve gotten more than one broken Windstone in the mail when buying from that site, but since they are in such superb condition and in their original boxes, I felt safe enough to do it. I just wish she would sell her Male too. 🙁
You’re like me in that regard then. I don’t like buying Windstones off Ebay, unless they’re coming directly from Windstone themselves. There are just too many sellers who don’t know how to, or don’t care how they pack them for shipment. I was tempted by the kirin because she was sure to be double boxed, but decided to let her go. I’m gonna hold out for blackfire kirins. I just hope Melody makes them!
I would love to see those go into production too, but cant she not do it because she sold some of the paints on ebay?

Thanks for the heads up. I’ve actually been watching that one for a little while but I’m a little wary of buying it because of some of the sellers feedback. That, and the jade ones almost always go for more than the regular ones and I cant afford to spend too much on it.
