Thank you bluepony.
Boskydragon – The burro is watercolor and the rest are Prismacolor and Faber Castel lightfast colored pencil .. (most taking many layers of different colors to get them looking the way they do)
Those are beautiful! Are you making the models too or just painting them. Are you sculpting them in clay and then cast them in resin?
I have several pieces available for sale if anyone is interested in original framed equine art pieces.
I will take money orders, certified checks or paypal (please add five dollars to the price for paypal to pay for fees)
August 7, 2007 at 5:02 pm in reply to: The help afford the new dragon fund.. equine art for sale. #606712Ok so after recently spending money on a dragon I wanted badly, I now realize that I sould not have spent so much.. in that my husband and I are living with my mother-in-law and we are trying to save money for a house.
Therefore, as much as I would like to keep these pieces, I need to make some money.
Is anyone interested in purchasing any of these original pieces? They are all framed in wooden frames and completely archival quality mats and backing. Please let me know if you are interested in any of these pieces.

ARgh.. I just won the IVEP Sitting Spectral, and as much as I would love to have him,, I really should not have spent the money… I’m excited at the prospect of him coming to live with me and afraid I might have to sell him. 🙁 Makes me sooo sad.

can you post a picture? I’m curious.
-I’m a huge fantasy nut. Love dragons and griffins.
-I’m an artist and I can really appreciate that they are not only the nicest dragon and fantasy sculptures I’ve seen; I can really get into how they were created and the pure craftsmanship and skill it took to make them.
-They’re, hands down, the highest quality fantasy collectible I know of
-They’re made here, in the USA,
-I like the people that make them. They are real, generous, down to earth people (okay, I know the down to earth part is debatable, but I mean they aren’t snobs!) that we can all relate with and become friends with. 🙂Ditto!!!!
Do we know how many they are making in total of these VF Fledgies?
No more VF Fledgies…
