Buump to the top!
Ohhh, ok! So it’s not just the pictures. That helps alot. Now I just have to decide which appeals more. I am tending to like the stripey one, even though my male is non-stripey, his darker parts seem really dark. 😛 *sets male beside computer monitor* So hard to decide. Something tells me he’s going to be a polygamist. 😛
I have a question about the Brown Female Griffins in the store. Regular, versus Stripey winged. The ones that match the retired Tan/Brown male are the ones I mean (not wolf color).
Looking at the pictures, they all seem to be different colors. The babies look kinda orangey, the regular female looks pale, and the stripey wing female looks darker. Before deciding which I want, I want to double check that they are all the same color in life and the differences are just in the pictures.
So… were all the Brown Griffins painted with the same paint? They are all the same color, right, just slightly different patterns?
That does sound like an interesting color… definitely let us know when the pics go up!
Rats. I missed the Grey Purring Tabby that were on ebay. I’d really like one of this cast, but I don’t care too much for the orange colored ones.
Offering $100 plus shipping! Must be mint in box with certificate.
Okioe!
So I have found on ebay the grey tabby purring cat, 19 of them. Orange tabby purring cat, 14 of them. And 3 calico ones. That’s about 36 of 50. Will there be another large batch released to ebay? Or two large batches? Any chance you remember what the colors were? Is there a black one, a white one, spotted perhaps? Thanks…
Aha! Took me a few minutes to figure it out but I think I have it now… Thanks! Was a good resource!
I put an ad in the local buy and sell magazine looking for windstone pieces. Someone has these she has offered to me, but I’m rather out of the loop on what they’re worth. Since they aren’t super rare, I don’t want to overspend. 😛
Any thoughts? What would you pay for these? For your own collection, or to resell.

Hi Melody!
I was wondering, how many all together will there be of the Purring Cat and Licking Cat? Will they be done in different color patterns for each casting? Do you have pictures of them, if they are in different colors?
Oh yay! Congrats! ^.^ Definitely post pics, and of him enjoying his new perch in your home. ^.^
Oh wow, what a nice Flap!
I’m so undecided – to enter or not. On the one hand, I like him! On the other, I really hope for a draggy.
Hooray Hooray Congrats!

*flabbergasted* And people have asked me if I “have enough yet’. I’ve got barely a dozen!
September 26, 2008 at 1:51 pm in reply to: Curious and have to ask – ebay negative that WE got #733693Glad I’m not the only one who was curious about this. 😛
I hadn’t considered the shipping delay issue. If that’s all it was, then sheesh. Certainly unwarranted, especially if it was posted in the auction description. Edit to add – except I checked the auction description, and it wasn’t mentioned there.
I can’t really see the staff at Windstone being ‘rude’. I’ve had all wonderful transactions with them, and the once that a piece did arrive damaged, they bent over backwards to make the situation right. So when I saw the negative I was like…. “wtf – what happened there?”
I’d say that any negative is a cause for concern. Especially if it was just slow shipping, and especially if it was caused by relocating the warehouse.
