I’m so glad!!!! Peg needed a little light in the dark I think!
Indeed. Massive bear hugs coming your way.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! 😀

Good to know. I will keep an eye out for that from now on.

I didn’t think of it that way. Besides, as much as I like the color scheme, I wouldn’t buy it. I’ll just wait for Melody to do it if she wants to.
I saw that as well. And I actually DO like the black repaint of it. Very much, in fact.

I don’t think it’s even dust, because as soon as got my brand new scratcher out of the box and took pics, it looks dusty but it actually isn’t.. Kinda weird, it might be the metallic in the paint that reflects the flash or something and makes it look that way. I see what you mean tho.
That could very well be. I have not yet perfected the ‘art’ of judging pictures of Windstones. 😀
sagiaparri wrote:Just FYI there is a Jade Scratcher on ebay for a nice price. (I’m not selling it)
The seller doesn’t tell a condition, but from the pics he looks in very good shape.
The last one that was on ebay sold for $250ish I think. I want it! 😥 :shout:I saw that guy as well. I’ve been skulking about on e-bay this morning.. LOL. He does look to be in good shape, if a little dusty.
LOL! Can’t say I blame you.
You know you’re a Windstone addict when you’re browsing ads on ebay for Windstones, and showing them to your 2 year old daughter saying,”ISN’T IT CUTE!?” Ah, the future of Windstone Addicts in the making.
sagiaparri wrote:I don’t have any pets, but does this count? I treat it just like a pet.. Feed it LOTS of money in food, pet it, bathe it about once a week. I even take it for long fast walks. XD
That looks like an awful fast ‘pet’! Does it pull you when on a leash? 😉
lamortefille wrote:Kudos to you, TalonaCat! You have every right to be proud of yourself.
Not proud, just resolved really. 🙂 I used to BE one of those people who used it as an excuse, and that in and of itself was taxing.
I’m in agreement with poems. I have no qualms aout buying a repaired piece, especially if it’s one I really want. But to not disclose that information is dishonest.

Agreed. Completely agreed. Most people have a *reason* they do so many emotional flips.
I’m about to put myself out there, and I hope this doesn’t start a war….
But using your mental dysfunction as a crutch is not acceptable in my opinion. I have been diagnosed TWICE with rapid cycling Bi-polar II. Throughout the years I have learned to manage my ‘illness’ with a change in diet and healthy activity. Insomuch that I cannot even tell it exists anymore except that my past medical records contain the information. Anyone who says,”Oh I’m sorry I was a complete TOOL and a total waste of space because I am (insert illness here).” is just using it as an excuse. It is possible to learn to live a normal life. It’s not EASY, but entirely possible.
lol! These pictures make me giggle. Thanks for the midday pickup. 😀
