      Please forgive my ignorance. I have seen people mention The Sins, and I kept thinking they were action figures or something. I didn’t realize that they were those dragons. Is there a website for them? I did a google search, but all I were site warning against the deadly sins (religous). Also, what was the name of the first one you posted – looking like it was stepping through water?

      Sorry for all the questions, but now I’m really curious. 😀

        I think your idea has merit. I would like to read more about her and the creativity that goes into her work. She seems really nice from the few posts I read.

          No. They’re the same. The siamese is a bit closer to the camera than the calico.

          I forgot to say congrats! She looks like she’s right at home. 😀

            Yes, congrats! He is one of the smaller dragons in the line, but I think the scratcher is just the right size. Big enough, but not too big.

            Take pics when he’s in his new “home”.

              SKULL: (drops the flask and becomes very angry.) Oh no. No you don’t. Not that one. (An alarm goes off.) Unicorn! Unicorn! Haggard! Haggard! Unicorn! Unicorn!

              Oh and how about griffin pins? I used to collect those a long time ago and am now tempted to do so again!

              UUUuuuniiiicoooorrrrn! I get the hint. 😆 Poads™ next, then uuunicorns!

              Unicorns SQUEAK! Unicorns SQUEAK!

              Nam, great job on all the additions. Being the geek that I am I really like the Windstone logo griffin button.

                    So would that mean I could write off the expense for buying my Windstones, or just claim them as dependents? Hmmm…the possiblities.

                        If I’m not mistaken that tan PYO wolf was up on ebay a couple of months ago. That was the only one I’ve seen so far I was willing to pay a high price for. I’m glad to see it went to a good home. You have a wonderful collection. I especially like how you display them in the glass cabinet.

                          Wow, that’s a trick question. Yes and no. It does get colder temp wise, but if there’s enough moisture in the air it doesn’t seem as cold as it can in California. We do occasionally get snow in the valley (every 5 years or so). If you are in Portland (farther north) the likelyhood of snow and really cold weather is higher on a regular basis. If you want a better chance of snow I would recommend heading to Washington. Hey SPark, would you like to comment?

                          The only problem I have is that in the winter when it rains (most of the time) it can drop down to 50-60s which is cold for me. I was rambling on this post quite a bit, did that answer your question?

                            I think you’ve been buying limited edition stuff too long Ski! The black male griffin used to retail for $76 before they were retired. $144 is a perfectly reasonable price for a regular production griffin.

                            Ok So I know the canadian dollar is less than the American… But… Well when did the Black Grif Male retire? Because when I was trying to get mine in ’99-2000 the only store that had one was already charging $350. 😯 😕

                            LH will have to correct me if I’m wrong, but I belive that even $350 is overpriced even for ebay for the Black Griffin. According to Astral Castle it was retired in 2004.

                                Let’s see here.

                                The Merriam-Webster online dictionary lists five different meanings of the word “cult” 32.

                                1.Formal religious veneration
                                2.A system of religious beliefs and ritual; also: its body of adherents;
                                3.A religion regarded as unorthodox or spurious; also: its body of adherents;
                                4.A system for the cure of disease based on dogma set forth by its promulgator;
                                5.Great devotion to a person, idea, object, movement, or work (as a film or book).

                                The Random House Unabridged Dictionary definitions are:

                                1.A particular system of religious worship, esp. with reference to its rites and ceremonies;
                                2.An instance of great veneration of a person, ideal, or thing, esp. as manifested by a body of admirers;
                                3.The object of such devotion;
                                4.A group or sect bound together by veneration of the same thing, person, ideal, etc;
                                5.Group having a sacred ideology and a set of rites centering around their sacred symbols;
                                6.A religion or sect considered to be false, unorthodox, or extremist, with members often living outside of conventional society under the direction of a charismatic leader;
                                7.The members of such a religion or sect;
                                8.Any system for treating human sickness that originated by a person usually claiming to have sole insight into the nature of disease, and that employs methods regarded as unorthodox or unscientific.

                                Oh yea, I think some of the definitions apply.
