Hi Maya,
This is what you posted in the Gallery about the figure Balance:
“I made her right after 9/11. Please let there be balance. Including the Other and consciously redefining and regaining balance.”Before I saw your comments the first thing that came to mind when I saw this piece was the Goddess Kwan Yin, due to the design of the head. Did you use renditions of her as inspiration or something else?

I’m sorry to hear that. Been there, done that. Isn’t it wonderful when life hands you other $$ spending opporunities other than Windstones? 😆
dragonessjade wrote:Just curious, why are you looking for them?
BTW, the only gargoyle I have is the guardian dragon one. They are currently listed on Ebay, and I’m thinking about getting one or two. I haven’t decided yet, but I couldn’t remember how big they were. From what others have posted they’re fairly large, which is great for where I’m thinking of putting them.
Thank you everyone for your help. 😀

Yes, very true.

Hey, that’s great. A rough estimate is all I’m looking for. Thanks!
Could you tell me what the dimensions are of these pieces? Thanks!
I know some people have definite feelings about this. Personally, I don’t mind being charged $5-10 more if it’s stated upfront, or if I ask for extra packaging, then I offer to add some $$, if the original shipping prices were very reasonable.
On the flip side, I’m an overly picky shipper. If I have the packaging material, then I won’t charge. The only reason I would condsider it, if the item took a long time to package properly (but then I would have figured that and added it to the asking price to start with). The only other reason I would consider it if I had to purchase new packing material for the item.
As a buyer I was burned big time by http://www.noblecollection.com/.They charged something like $15-20 for shipping for a broach I ordered and half of that was a handling charge. It wasn’t like it was carefully packaged or anything. What a rip off. Needless to say I always think twice before ordering anything from them. And the quality of the broach was terrible, but it sure wasn’t reflected in the price of $70. Needless to say it was returned. 👿
Gee darn, I ramble! Sorry…. 😳
Yea, I noticed the necklace thing right away. I asked about it in another thread, but it was never answered. Maybe that chick is the ‘odd’ child? 😆
😆 😆

Ski, sorry I was just watching the final selling price, which one did you win?
I can see where the chick has his father’s eyes and his mother’s good looks! 😆 😆
Do they plan to adopt a tan or wolf chick or are they like cats where they can have offspring of multiple colors?
SPark wrote:Their explanation of “monitor difference” is actually acceptable there. It may very well have looked like jade on your monitor, and like emerald on their computer. And most people who sell the dragons don’t know anything about the differences in colors, even if they sell both emerald and jade. They were going by what Windstone told them, which was that the oriental was jade.
Sorry.
What about the fiasco with trying to return for their money back? Wouldn’t that alone, be reason to steer clear? I was under the assumption this is for the bad/black list. I think a fair warning would be warranted.

Like we needed any more, being the addicts that we are! 😆
dragonessjade wrote:I think this will be very handy and save time for Karen and Susie. 😀
True. I like the fact that I can just click on the item and find out if it’s in stock or not, instead of having to bug them. Especially, when I’m only window shopping.
