I’ve had that issue once with UPS and once with Fed-Ex. We have manufactured home parks here on the same street and the address numbers were off by 2 digits. One was 1199 and the other was 1166. So I had to go to the other park to the same house number to find my package sitting on their front porch. It might be a screw-up like that. However, after a week and a half there should have been a call to UPS to re-deliver the package. (Unless the people use a back door as their main entrance to the house, then they may not see that something is on the front porch.) I would start the missing package report. Did you have it insured for the total $140 plus shipping?
Let us know what you find out.
Does anyone have the prices for the first 4 IVEP Laps? The one that ended today was $265, and I think #4 was $303. I don’t know what #1 and #2 went for.
I normally go for the lighter colors, but I had to pick Everglade because of the detail on the feathers. Both are really nice.
I was about to say the same thing. What damage?
Good work!
What does that poster say on the wall behind Susie? Something about No Learning. No Bread? ??????

He’s gorgeous! Now I have to decide which Windstone I want more right now! (Too many choices and not enough $$.)
Points to siggie. 😉
Indeed! 😆

Ha! Ha! I thought it was just me. After eying those SKs in IVEP, I immediately saw the gothic uni! Great minds think alike.
Are they going to be regular production?

*grin!* I knew about this ahead of time, so I had to bite my tongue. 😉
When did this happen??!
I’m so sorry to hear about your mom being a brat.
Well, treat her like the child she acting like and tell her “NO!” You are a grown woman and although parents have a way of wearing us down to get their way, you shouldn’t have to deal with it. Would you give in to a child who was having a hissy fit for 3 hours?! Probably not, but your mother is just doing this for a much longer time, but you’re better than her. Tell her that the answer is ‘no’ and that there will be no further discussion on it. If you dad gets into it, tell him politely that he needs to stay out of it (since it’s between you and your mother) and that she already has her answer. If she wants an airbrush that much he can either buy her one or she buy herself one, but yours is being used.
Girl, this is your life and people like that you need to tell where the line is! (Frankly, if I were you I would consider her already there. You’ve got too much to attend to without your mother acting like a spoiled little brat!)
Good luck and keep us informed.
Happy Birthday!
Very good question Ski, very thought provoking.
Cosmetic surgery is fine for corrective issues, burn victims, or for “quality of life” problems like breast reduction (back pain, etc.) Although, I have very mixed feelings about for purely ascetic reasons.
I’ve seen quite a few shows showing the before and after. People, generally look nicer and the biggest change you see is how people feel about themselves. I wish we didn’t live in such a society, but it does exist. I think if someone wants to do it, and nothing else will make them happy, then go for it. They just need to be aware of what can happen, especially if the job is botched or if infection sets in.
At one time I toyed with the idea of a breast enlargement (couldn’t afford it, so it wasn’t an actual choice – more like a “what if”). I then watched one of those shows that showed what they do in surgery and also how the patient looked during the healing process and well, needless to say, I will never have one done. It cured me. Beauty wasn’t worth that grief.
As for graduation gifts, no way! (I personally think you should have to be 25 years old before getting plastic surgery.) Aside from life altering cases, i.e. burn victims, people should have to save up for their surgery. If they still want to burn that kind of money for a nose job, etc, then they must really want it and have earned the right to have it.
I know a lot of people may not agree, but this is how I feel.

How much are you willing to pay?
It depends on the condition of the piece. I’m looking for ether a white or an emeral.
I have a white coiled mom in mint condition, but no hang tag or box. I don’t know if I want to part with her. The price would have to be right.
I like the lighter version better. These look like they have jumpsuits on to me. I thinks it’s the dark body with white paws and wings. Maybe I’m just weird. 😆
