Well, I think I may just be finally finished with this one. I’m still not sure about the hooves, but, that won’t take long to fix.
So what do you think?
Saddly because of the bad weather I can’t get the colours to come up properly. There is interference red edging the side scales… I’m hoping for sun soon (tomorrow?) so that I can finally get a good picture of it.
So is it good enough to sell for fund raising?

I really wish I could afford one. I don’t know which one I like more….. I really like the peacock and the gold. (Strange since I got sick of peacock, and I didn’t really like the gold. I liked the gold without the purple but, with the brown shading.)
Okay worked on the gypsy PYO yesterday…. it’s nowhere near done but, this will give you an idea. I don’t like the markings on the one side so I think I’ll remap that side.

I’ll take a picture of it tomorrow. It’s not that interesting yet since it’s mainly lines on white. I’ve found the horse that I was using as a model.

Really? Oh that’s good. Which kirin were you interested in? I’m almost finished the ghost, the gypsy I’ve just started to map out the markings. (Now I can’t find the horse I was using as a reference…. so I might have to change him.)
So, since I’m not done either I can make changes to it.
This is the ghost so far. I’m trying to make it look better. (Until I get something for inspiration it’s been on hold….)
So, I’m sure you’ve all heard about Monty by now. I was trying to come up with some ideas to help raise funds for his surgery. One idea I came up with was either selling the kirins I’m working on. Or, to offer some commissions. All the money would be to given to Draco…..
So what do you guys think. If I did offer a few PYOs up would you buy them in the name of charity?
I’m working on a Ghost koi-rin, and a gypsy vanner kirin. I also have a blank PYO winged wolf, and a muse with orange and red eyes.

I was a cake decorator for a few years. The paste dyes are meant for mixing into the soft icing that coats a cake. There are also airbrush colors for cakes, that are really thin food color which are airbrushed on any icing, fondant or molding chocolate surface. The pastes arent meant to be watered down, the pigments wouldnt hold I dont think. Icing also doesnt absorb the color the way a pyo does…and is really prone to “overcoating” or “beading” or just dripping down the side if you do too much. I loved decorating cakes, it was a great skill to learn. 😀
You’re right. I think I’m just tired tonight. I actually knew that. But, like I said, I’ve never airbrushed. It would have been really nice to learn that. Maybe someday I’ll buy an airbrush and try to learn to paint with it. 😆
