He’s quite a bit different than the other, but the differences are hard to catch without having them side by side. I hope the person who commissioned him will be happy.

Yep, this particular PYO is going to be a lot of fun!
I can’t wait!

ACCKKK!!! Where did that come from? How did I miss that?????? That wasn’t Listed under Windstone, was it?
I need the T-Rex and the Baby Triceratops to complete my dino collections…please, please let me know if one of these comes up again…..I can’t find him anywhere and I am willing to pay $100 if anyone wants to sell their T-Rex.
I saw that auction, but I didn’t tell since someone here was bidding on him. Glad you got such a good price. That’s about what I got my peacock curl for too, and he is mint.

I’m confused, are you talking about the PYO Unicorns, or something else?

Not true, I can do a dapple grey with only brushes.
Kyrin
well for ME anyway, though i’d love to try! i’ll try and make a mess, lol! i don’t have an air brush, nor do i care to own one. heck, i’m a sculptor not a painter anyway! good for you kyrin if you can pull that fabulous subtleness off, i look forward to seeing yours and everybody elses! do you normally paint horsies? this will be so different to see how everyone deals with painting a totally different kind of critter, especially now, giving the horse painting folk a great chance to shine! squee! i can’t wait to see!
Yeah, I’ve been painting and drawing horses since I could pick up a pencil. I absolutely love horses, and can’t wait until we can get some fences in so we can have them again.
Anyway, drybrushing really lends itself for things like dappling…there are a bunch of ways you can go about getting a dapple effect. I’ll see if I can do a WIP for you guys when we get the unicorns.

If he doesn’t get a bid this go around, I’ll let you know. If you would like to get him at a later date, I’m willing to hold him for you.

But this one is really nice. If I wasn’t broke and already expecting a griffon soon, I’d buy this one.
But I’m on a buying moratorium until I sell some things.
Anyone want a taxidermically stuffed wood duck on some driftwood? Trade?
Kyrin
Do you have any photos of it?
Better, here’s it’s auction link. This is my second go around. *sigh*
The tail isn’t really messed up, it was just out of position when I snapped the pic.

How about just making your own box? Get some foam insulation put enough to fill 1/2 of the box, lay dragon on top when the foam is half set up to get your indent of the dragon, then fill another bag with the dragon in place, place new filled bag on top of dragon and then close box. Wait a little while then open to make sure foam inserts made hold dragon securely and has set up properly, then close up, put into another box and ship.
The insulation isn’t expensive and wouldn’t take alot, and would guarantee non shifting packing.
Just a suggestion. I’ve done this in the past, and it works very well.

I vote for quagga colors and pattern!
*evil grin*
Melody will definately stomp me on THAT one!

Oh well. Ski’s selling me hers, looks like, so I won’t bother you with squeaking for white Risers. Thanks anyway. 😀Yay, I’m glad you got to get one! I was gonna PM you if you didn’t see the offer soon.
Kyrin
Okay, dragon is sold. Thanks guys!
Kyrin
Oooh…they are almost out?? Where are the pics, I wanna see!
And I definately plan to do several. As soon as they come out, I’m getting 2!

Oh, I want him! He’s so cute!
I have my eye on a young oriental on eBay stores, but unfortunately I think he is actually the emerald color. So if I get him, he won’t match the oriental I have.
Lucky you for getting one.
