Were you on the waiting list for curls? I think that’s who got the emails.

Yes, they’re pretty prominent. I do like the way each starts with a darker color and is faded out gradually with different thinned metallics. I was able to get a pic of her in natural light today. I had no idea these little boogers would be so hard to get good shots of. 😛

Very close to her natural coloring. No flash.

Please post some pics when she gets there! If this batch are pale pink I need to grab one before they’re all gone. 😆 I’d love to have two different ones.

I like the lighter one better as well. Guess I shouldn’t complain, there are others wanting one pretty badly that haven’t been able to get one at all. He’s the one pic I have ATM of my burnt sugar cutie.

Wow Kyrin, that’s got to be the best yet. It’s amazing!

Congrats Silverdragon, he’s very handsome. It really makes me wish I had someplece nearby to go see some of these in person.

I got my pink curlie that I won a couple weeks ago off ebay today. I know they just released more in the store, but I’m thrilled with the amount of darker pink on this girl. Especially on her back. Is it true the ones coming out now are much paler?

in reply to: Anyone get the NEW eBay rules? #660531

As someone who has received retaliatory feedback that brought my score way down bcause I have little feedback anyways, I can appreciate the new rule. I hate that some sellers wait until they see what you wrote before they’ll leave feedback for you. I usually pay within minutes of winning a bid, and didn’t appreciate buyers using my feedback space to defend where they messed up. Of course then they petitioned to have feedback mutually withdrawn and what buyer wouldn’t? So in order to make it so my feedback score didn’t suffer, I had to withdraw my negative. I should have known ahead of time from the number of withdrawn feedbacks this seller had.. I recently had someone ship an ornate, expensive dagger to me in a manila envelope with no other protection. By the time it got here, it was hanging half out of the envelope and I’m really surprised it wasn’t damaged, lost, or stolen. I’ve declined to leave any feedback at all regarding their poor shipping because I know the result will be a negative for me.

On the other hand, I can understand where it would frustrate sellers who legitimately have bad buyers on their hands. I wish they could think up something that would make everyone happy.

Happy Early Birthday, Jennifer. I hope you have a wonderful day. Relax and get someone else to clean those cages. 😆

in reply to: back in stock ( well they were, now they're gone) #660329

I’ve been lucky like crazy this week. 😀 First I get the sugar poad, then I happen to catch the email that the silver curlies I wanted were back in stock. Oh yeah, of course the silver lap too! I’m on cloud nine.

Congrats to all who got pieces they’ve been eargerly awaiting.

Yes she did. I’m hoping that in natural light I’ll be able to get all the metallic tones layered on her stripes. There’s plenty of warm gold, silver, and copper on her.

    Congrats, Kachina. 😀 Pics?

Sure! Unfortunately I had to take these indoors with flash last night. I was looking forward to taking her outside to photograph in the sun today, but no such luck since it’s all rainy and dreary. 🙁 Pics really don’t do them justice!

in reply to: Any wine conniseurs out there? #660048

    Found it. 😀

    Nancy’s swiss heritage peach sangria

one punch bowl full of ice
1 bag of frozen mixed fruit (can add extra fruit if you like)
1 bottle Swiss Heritage Peach wine
    1 can Welch’s frozen white grape/peach concentrate
    1 2-liter bottle of 7UP

Just toss everything in the bowl and stir. Doesn’t sound like much but it’s soooo refreshing on a summer evening. I’m sure another very sweet peach wine could be substituted.

    If you can order online,

These guys have awesome fruit wines:
    http://www.broadruncheese.com/cgi-bin/htmlos.cgi/00450.1.1423734550366322619
Their blueberry is my favorite. Very sweet, no tannin aftertaste.

    As do these folks:
    http://www.breitenbachwine.com/store_fr.htm
Their ice wine is the best I’ve ever had.

We go there a few times a year and load up. We served several different wines from those places at our wedding, along with a sangria wine punch that everyone LOVED. Lemme see if I can go dig up the recipe for it. it’s fruity, refreshing, and you can drink a lot of it. 😆

Here’s something interesting… Melody numbered these ones. Well, at least the ones I got for me and Kaya were numbered.

Number 15 arrived here yesterday. I was thrilled with how sweet they are in person. Of course this means now I have to have one of each color. 😆
