I just saw this topic. I have a peacock one, if anyone is interested and good with touch ups, so please check out my topic about the coiled mother and black flap cat. Thanks!
WOW! Pretty sure I can go at least one day; I am only 2 hours from Pittsburgh, so I don’t think I will need a hotel room. **so excited!** 😀
So who else may go?
Hey SPark! I just took a look at your website, and I am veeeeery impressed!!!! 😮 Wow, what great stuff! I would love to see your inventory and current projects; that would be fascinating!
Anyway, where are these fur cons taking place and when? If I can’t go this year since I have so many commitments already, maybe next year. Are they at the same place every year, or do they change? I hope to get to one sometime.
Thanks for the info, I really enjoyed getting educated on the real goings on there. I would love a partial suit since I would probably melt in a full suit! **pant pant** Maybe someday…
I wish you the best with your furries! 😀 Have fun!
Blessings,
Goldragon2!
Well, my son’s 13th birthday is on Thursday, and I wanted to get him a couple of things. Since he lost the PSP that he got for Christmas already, I was going to get him another one for his birthday. I am still broke from Christmas and my trip to Florida over New Years, so I wanted to see if I can sell a couple of my pieces.
I have a large, black flap cat (just like the one WSC bought from me last year) in mint condition, save for a barely visible paint rub on his left wing that just needs a tiny touch up with the right color blue. I would try to touch it up myself, but I am having thyroid and blood sugar issues, and my hands shake too much. I paid $156.98 for him.
I also have a mother coiled dragon in Peacock in need of a few touch ups and blending on her bottom scales. If displayed below eye level, you can’t even notice the mis-matched paint and rough scales; you have to turn her over or sideways to see them well. I paid $152.50 for her.
If anyone is interested and wants pictures, please PM me and I will send them ASAP. I would really like to get what I paid for them, so the best offer that is close to or over, will be accepted. I will also consider a trade for a used PSP, so that is an option too! Thanks so much for your consideration!
Blessings,
Lourdes
What a relief that they (the conventions) are not like the CSI ep! Maybe I can take the family to one then. How do I go about getting a costume made? I am totally fumble-fingered, so I won’t even attempt it, but I would LOVE a dragon or horse one if possible.
What goes on there? Do some people show up just to look without wearing costumes? I’m sure there are contests too, huh? It sure sound like a lot of fun….lots of warm fuzzies! 😀

I’m in CA and only a 5 hour drive from the factory. Well 5 hours without commute traffic that isI am sooooooo jealous of you Californians! I would LOVE to visit the factory some day! Maybe next year I can scrounge up enough frequent flyer miles to get all 4 of us to the West Coast. That would be awesome! 😀 😀

Anthro in this case is short for Anthropomorphic animals. Furries, in other words. Anthrocon is one of the biggest furrycons.I’ll be there this year!
All right, please forgive me for this, but I just HAVE to ask! 😯 Is this like the “plushies and furries” convention episode of CSI? That is one of my faves! Is there really such stuff that goes on there like “scritching” and “fur piles”? I don’t want to insult or offend, I am just soooo curious!
They sound like a lot of fun, even without the above goings on! 😉

You are not kidding. I got to see him in person at a convention — didn’t get to get a photo though. Darn it. Wow! He’s beautiful!
Definitely a great piece of eye candy! I have been happily married for 15 years, but I sure like to admire God’s creations (and I really like Melody’s creations too)! 😀 As long as I don’t touch, my hubby doesn’t mind. 😀

WooHoo! Thanks Snap!
I went to 8 scools in 12 years, so I got around a bit. Public schools in Miami weren’t the best. You kind of get lost in the masses.
Private schools have smaller classes, but you end up dealing with more than a few rich kids with attitudes. I was not one of the rich kids; my mom struggled to send me to Catholic and even Military school (no I did not HAVE to go, I wanted to, then changed my mind after it was too late 😮 ).
The best experience I had was when I moved to PA and went to a small town high school for my senior year. I didn’t know a soul, but I made a few friends (students and teachers both), and I really enjoyed the individual attention I got there.
I was a troubled teen (long story), and they really seemed to care about me there compared to being invisible in Miami. Just my 2 cents.
It is really late and I should be in bed, but I am a bit wired because I am going on my first company business trip tomorrow. WOOHOO! 😀
Tired and wired, not a good combination… 😯 Better go before I say something more stupid than normal…Night all! 😀

How exciting!!!! I wish you the best of luck with your possible new doggie! I also love the Siberian Husky’s wolf like appearance, but all I have is a Humane Society mutt. Gotta love him though, he is nuts like me.Dragon Master Posted: Wed Jan 10, 2007 10:01 pm
And how many Windstones does he have????
Just because he is nuts like me, doesn’t mean I will share my Windstones with him. 😛 Tonight while I was feeding the critters, he was playing with what I thought was a root ball that he had found weeks ago, but it turned out to be frozen horse manure!!! 😯
I guess he wanted a poopsickle!
AAAAAAAACK!!!! 😯 😯I love my boys with all my heart and soul, but I would go absolutely OUT OF MY MIND trying to home school them! Some people just aren’t cut out for that, it really takes a special, loving, PATIENT person.
My sister in law happily home scooled her 3 kids when the oldest got in trouble in school for talking about Jesus. If she had talked about sex, drugs, or murder, it would not even have been an issue. Pardon me if I offend, but it is the honest truth. How sad! 🙁

Please let us know how it turns out for you, I hope you get her!

I just read this thread today…
Thanks for thinking of me Ski! 😀 😀
I will just wait for the next batch, and start refreshing EBay constantly. **whimpers**
How am I going to keep from getting fired? 😀
