But I agree with you DJ & others! Very beautiful, but tough when it comes to not catching something close to others 😕 . I actually had that same problem! EVEN though I changed it around…like you were talking about with the black…I LOVE black LOL! And blues and purples are my FAVE! I got in twubble 🙁 on one of mine awhile back, thats ok though..he was my fave ive done anyhow and didnt really want to sell him, but I needed the money…now, he is still with me looking over me (giving me the evil eye LOL)…I have since named him “troublemaker” now 😆 😆

She did use both my patterns and then maniputlated them and put them in different spots, and I agree with the others…I have had ideas for some dragon, wolves, ki-rins etc, but someone else got to that idea before me and was like….DARN!!! I should have painted that quicker! 😆 😆 ! But now I wont paint it because of the simple fact that I feel like I am copying someones work. I also agree with Nam on a few things…but when someone takes photos, and exact artwork and then calls it original….BAH! 🙄
I can unerstand the interference paints….you can use that in TOO many different ways without copying someone elses “ideas”. Another example, I had just bought some butterfly wings and WAS going to put them on a KiRin…BUT someone LOL beat me to the punch AGAIN 😆 ….so NOW I wont use wings on a KiRin….AND what a GREAT IDEA that was too!! They looked soooo awesome guys and gals that actually did them! 😉 😀

I DO agree…we all have to start sometime…and the painting techniques will get better as you go, thats not really what we are talking about…its MORE about stealing pictures and others’ designs. Why NOT pick something out of your OWN mind and creativity to CREATE something original her or himself than rather than using other peoples’?

It seems to me that this person is the same that tried posting pictures of Waters to sell it and when they got in trouble for it resorted to picking things that looked some what easy to paint and trying to copy them and sell them which..

I STILL have yet to do the other one I have been wanting to do for a LONG time, and still have pictures to post in the gallery…BUT I am KINDA scared to now……now that all of “THIS” is happening…ya know? But really thinking about it…what….are we all going to stop painting altogether?? YEAH…nope 😯 🙄 LOL! I guess we are all just going to have to live with the people that dont have any originality to them, and keep on doing what we do best 😀

AND WOW!!! I LOVE your unicorn! I would LOVE to have one JUST like it on a Windstone! BUT…they are right, if you decide to do them and sell them without the idea copyrighted..which I dont think you can do on a already copyrighted figurine…that there is ALWAYS the chance for a “copycat”. If you were to do them, I would say LEAVE them off of Ebay, and sell them to those here on the forum you KNOW would appreciate them and cherish them without the worry of that. I PERSONALLY would LOVE to have one! I would also..just my opinion, those who do get one, if you choose that route, keep the pictures of them off of the internet…but again…like the old saying goes…

I know Emerald I agree…I already thought of that too. “WE” just being painters dont have any rights, because “technically” speaking we dont even “really” own these pieces either. They are still property of Windstone. We are just “allowed” if you will…to paint them. A shame that there isnt a way that Windstone couldnt do something or add something to this either…since they are thier property. Does this make any sense? I agree, she does need to come up with some of her own unique ideas, but as well, can take them and turn them into something else, without the NEED of copying other peoples ideas. And Yes, this is the same person that was using Water’s pictures to sell her wolves.
Thanks KoishiiKitty and GB 😳 😀 , I appreciate the compliments, but KoishiiKitty, when I listed my first wolf on ebay, I had in the description: Native American too…so I kinda think that this is touch and go. She did in a way duplicate a couple of my patterns, like the zig-zag lines, but moved them to the paws and the paw print she turned into a somewhat looking hand print….and the colors of the wings she tried to do too…well I guess we all are just going to have to sit back and keep a watchful eye I guess. I also dont really think that there is really anything we all can do. The Part I am woried about is..IF shes doing this to “US” members, WHAT is going to stop her from duplicating Windstones?? Thats where I see a BIGGER problem. 😯 😕
