Do you double box? I shipped two mom dragons like that when I first joined the forum. The one that went to Arlla still ended up chipping. I was amazed, since I felt it was packed very well. I double box everything (Pretty much) now.
yes..she is in her original box and then the larger box

well i decided to take pics and post them of the process of packing up a windstone..this one is my hatching empress that is being sent to purple cat today
..firs i wrap the windstone in enough bubblewrap to prevent it from being harmed if jostled at all..but i wrapped it in just enough so i would not have to force it into its box..i then wrap the box in 16 layers of bubble wrap and tape it on all sides going around the entire box..i then cover the bottom of the larger box in large bubble bubble wrap before placing the small box inside of it and then dumping packing peanuts over it and ont he sides..then..to add extra padding on top and the sides i again add about 16 layers of bubble wrap..heres a couple pics to show a few steps
the dragon within the extremely padded box
the packing peanuts on the sides and over the little box
and finally last layer of bubble wrap added for extreme protection
my girlfriend has decided that shes dragging me out on a little windstone shopping spree tomorrow..so i plan to have atleast 4 new pieces to my collection hee hee 8)
you know your addicted to windstones when your as broke as you possibly can get AND unemployed but you ALWAYS find a way to get that certain piece you want

i was going to go but unforunatly due to some issues i wont be able to this year (first time in 7 years i cant go) 🙁
we currently have more then 20 animals in the house lol and all i have to say is it can be a real pain to keep it clean sometimes..especially with the dog trying to chase and play with the cats whom riqochet off of everything..including the ceiling fan-_-

yeah, her markings are pretty uncommon but they are recognized by breeders just not used for shows lol and yes..she has satilite dish ears hee hee
