Ocean Blue I believe…I WANT, but I spent all my Christmas money already (not that it would have been enough)! 😆
Unicow 😆
I feel the same way about altering animals for personal gain. There’s no useful reason to put a big heavy horn on the top of a goat’s head, aside from making money at ren fairs 🙄
I wonder if he broke their skulls when they were small…I know I’ve seen deer while hunting that had skull injuries that made them grow straight antlers out of the middle of their heads.
Anyway…that’s just creepy 😯
I have no idea how I’m going to be able to sit and wait here at school for Reading Week in February when I can go home and paint mine. It’s going to be torture…but in a good way 😈
He’s beautiful, and I love the pendant! I can’t wait to get my hands on one of my own 😀
Thank you Miss Melody! 😀
Just when I had a little extra money too. This is perfect!
Best of luck! *crosses fingers*
The only curly I have is the very last Emerald Peacock. I love him to death, and he was my first Windstone. There’s a fledgy on the way to keep him company though 😀
*Heart breaks*
Blues are my colour, and this is the perfect dragon for me…too bad it’s lightyears beyond my reach 😥
It’s exam season, so I’ll post a couple peeves I have with them.
* Annoying noises. There you are, writing a difficult exam in an echoing gym. You’re concentrating hard on writing out answers…and then it starts. People blowing bubblegum bubbles, someone sniffing every 10 seconds because they didn’t bother to bring tissue for their cold, tapping pens…you get the idea. Stuff you can’t control like coughing fits and even crying I understand, but damn it spit out the gum, blow your nose and STOP TAPPING THAT PEN!
* Only exam issue that ticks me off more: cheating. I wrote my first exam of the term last night, and two idiots got kicked out for cheating. This guy and girl cheated on the first midterm for the class but didn’t get caught, then they were separated during the second midterm because they were caught talking. Last night, right before the exam began, the adults overseeing the exam took study notes from the guy that he was trying to smuggle under his desk. Think he was smart enough to stop there? Of course not. They removed both him and the girl half-way through. They’ll be kicked out of university for certain this time. Honestly, how dumb can you be?! 👿
Congrats!! Too bad SK’s are off the list 😛
Makes me wish the store I talked to earlier hadn’t jerked me around. Oh well, I’ll have to find someone else to pester *inspired*
December 9, 2007 at 8:32 pm in reply to: Dramatic Health Update: Anyone Taken Lovenox Before? #643931I’m sorry to hear about the injections and stress you are facing. I’m only 21, but I have had a number of people around me have unplanned, unexpected and unwanted pregnancies, so I have some understanding of how you must feel.
I just wanted to say that just because you have a child doesn’t mean you can’t do art. My mother and my aunt both had three children each, and they continued to paint, craft, sew and knit throughout our entire childhoods. Granted, while my mother had three children under the age of 5 she didn’t do nearly as much creative work as before, but it never stopped her. She taught us all how to craft along with her, she made us the most wonderful Halloween costumes and clothing, and she is the reason I paint today. Basically she adapted, and I’m sure you will too. Don’t give up hope 🙂
I’m still fairly young and still a rookie when it comes to relationships, so I will leave that kind of advice for those with experience. I can offer a tiny suggestion though. I was in a 5-year rough patch about two years ago, no one thing in particular was wrong, just a never-ending stream of stress and hurt. When it got to its worst, I started talking 5 or 10 minutes and writing out all the things that made facing the day worthwile. Be it the weather, spotting deer in a field while riding the bus, or surviving a midterm paper or exam. It helped me see that there were so many reasons to keep fighting.
I know it sounds really corny, like something out a drug store self-help book, but I figured I’d throw it out there. I’ll keep good thoughts for you 🙂
Dixie Rose (usually just Dixie) our 8 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. She’s had cateracts since she was a year and a half old, but you’d never know watching her that she was practically blind. She’s a real sweet-heart.
And Rebel, our 2 year old Sheltie. He’s a genius, but also a total dork. He can learn anything, but he’s scared of his own shadow and he does silly things all the time.
Rebel showing off his true nature:
I was pestering an antique and curio store in the area, which seemed like the perfect place to carry them (they had sold them way back when). Despite the fact that they took and order from me and then never bothered to actually contact Windstone, I think curio shops are another good one to bug 😈
