by the way, Drag0nfeathers, I noticed you have a squeek* of the week for the Burgundy Gold and Ocean Blue. Is that like a “tweet” on Twitter, or a “poke” on Myspace? If so, the Burgundy Gold OW would like to squeek* back to you, and let you know that he knows he’s the most gorgeous creature in the display case.

twindragonsmum 😀
sorry, but I have NEVER figured out how to get pictures on the forum even though I have followed all the instructions to the letter, and I am no photographer, so I could never do better than John did on the Ebay ad. 👿Thank you–I’ve been looking for a male to display with ny Red Fire first edition with special paint mother dragon. :squeak:

And where I can find a link to show that? I’d appreciate it, I need this for a claim.
Thanks 😀Blackdesertwind wrote:She had relisted it previous to this one and it was taken down. But oviously she found a way to relist it anyway.
Does John have access to his emails yet?
And did somebody already report it to him?The auction wasn’t ever taken down before, it just ended with no bids. The male dragon sold for less than retail value. I felt like telling her WHY her dragon didn’t sell for much, but she obviously wants to bite the forum member’s hands that WOULD feed her, so she’s basically an idiot. She is alienating what could be a large customer base, if that is what she intends to start selling on EBAY. But Ebay told me that only a Windstone staff member can call them to actually get the ad removed.
and I highly doubt that if she was slammed with messages like she claimed to be, that most of them even came from forum members. From the looks of things, she maybe got notes from Jennifer, plus maybe 3 other members. The rest of us just read her responses here. I would have sent her a note, but I checked here to see if it had been already addressed first. After all, not everybody that is obsessed with those delightfully tacky dragons belongs to our Windstone Mafia, LOL! :squeak:
Maybe she thinks we have a “Windstone Mafia”. Maybe I’ll send over my “tacky” Burgundy Gold Old Warrior to chew off her kneecaps! 😀
well, I see that her auctions ended, and the candlelamp did not sell at all, and the Male Dragon sold for under retail. If she only knew that she could have easily sold both pieces (the male dragon for more money) with just some honesty and integrity (plus catching a few flies with honey, rather than vinegar wouldn’t hurt). I wonder if she will relist the candlelamp, and if so, if THIS time it will be revised. I personally am proud of my 100% FB rating and will do anything to preserve that reputation. :squeak:
I sent a question to the seller yesterday before I did this post about what the armadillo was made of and I just got a reply–he said, “I’m not sure–maybe a resin. I received this and I’m not the collector here. so sorry I could not be more helpful.” So is the armadillo so lightweight that it would be thought to be made of resin, or could this still be a knock-off?
Melody wrote:I can’t find this armadillo auction on Ebay. I’m curious to see what it went for. Did anybody win it?
It does kind of remind me of your poads, Melody!
Also, for the record, I never sent her any notes to “correct” her on the ads, because I knew it had already been done, and also been done by Jennifer, a Windstone staff member, who could fully explain it to the seller. But I just hope that whoever buys the Emerald Male Dragon already is familiar with Windstones, and wants to buy it, without being signed, so nobody gets hurt. At least the FB policies have changed, so seller cannot leave retaliatory FB if they are not happy. :squeak:
Blackdesertwind wrote:The seller has yet to change the description and title of the white dragon.
I got a reply from the seller concerning my two last messages to him/her:
“Dear blackdesertwind,
I had no idea. Perhaps not being obsessed with tacky dragons would be in order.
Thanks
– ilovefeds”
TACKY!!!??? 😯
I know we don’t have all the same taste when it comes to collecting…but TACKY?
Come on! 😕
As for this, I am appalled by this response, I have dealt with some rude Ebay sellers, but this takes the cake. She is obviously planning on selling Windstones, and yet she is biting the hands that could feed her. And with her just starting out, I don’t think she can afford to get negative FB right off the bat.purpledragonclaw wrote:Blackdesertwind wrote:I don’t think it’s retired yet since it’s just out of stock only in the Windstone store:
