I wonder why it was taken off before?
I Would love an Old Warrior one day.. any Old Warrior!
June 15, 2007 at 8:57 pm #589398Because he was spamming and some people reported him.

He was keyword spamming. The bottom of the auction had about 30 different fantasy words unrelated to the actual piece.
June 15, 2007 at 9:00 pm #589400Hmm yeah reading that auction makes me think they’re the kind of thing I’ld be quite willing to push in front of an oncoming subway train. Purely out of malicious evil personal entertainment, far less any other reason. 😈 Don’t worry I wouldn’t even if I knew them in life, because in most of the countries and cultures on this planet(if not all) that is a No-No, and I have to follow the local laws Legally, socially, and culturally of where ever I am.
June 15, 2007 at 9:11 pm #589401well certainly if it was so rare and so desirable i would certainly think maybe just ONE other soul other than myself would have made him an offer when he listed it the first time…even if it was for 5 bucks….. but noone did….. i offered, gosh, i forget what….$85 i think ..so plus shipping it would have come to 100. i can’t exactly remember though, but didn’t think it was offensive..i wasn’t going to go much higher because it is not a huge piece and his pics leave alot to the imagination for flaws n wear….heck laps go for 191, now so me buying a retired one at 125 is a steal, nib too! lol! anyway if he has some brass he can auction it and let collectors tell him its value, heck maybe it will go for more than what he hopes…..sometimes they do…:)
June 15, 2007 at 9:15 pm #589402It just astounds me that this person can, in a single auction:
~Tell collectors they should buy something for rarity over personal taste.
~Call one of his coworkers a bitch.
~Vaguely insult the shop he bought it from.
~Take a personal jab at a specific Windstone collector.
~Insult people who buy peacock dragons. And then be so oblivious to his tone that he ends the description with, “I’d love to do business with you!”.
I mean, he just could have said, “I’m only interested in money and couldn’t care less about anyone else.” At least it would have been honest!
June 15, 2007 at 9:45 pm #589403I’m kind of at a lose for words. I’m kind of insulted about the peacock dragon thing. I’m a prime example… I don’t fancy all the gargoyles THAT’S MY TASTES AS OTHERS, but I do like the peacock coloration 100% more than the whites, greens or browns. So… yeah… I’d pay 125 for a peacock dragon but not 100 for this gargoyle. It’s called personal tastes, buddy.
TF should note the guy back. What a jerk >/ And he expects to sell things when being that way?
June 15, 2007 at 10:12 pm #589404At this rate I don’t think any one will buy it and rightly so!
I Would love an Old Warrior one day.. any Old Warrior!
June 15, 2007 at 10:26 pm #589405bah! i’m not particularly offended or worried. he didn’t name me directly or slander my name directly. hes just being a turkey, and that is all he is.. lol. let him not sell it or sell it as his buy it now and let someone not in the forum loop(or someone that doesn’t mind) be happy. and yes a gargoyle uni WILL go for $125 justifiably, as it is one of the biggest windstones you can get and unis in general have a very broad appeal. what he is offering is a very particular piece at a semi-highish price, which will only appeal to certain collectors.. it can take time for it to sell potentially, for the right person to see it and want it badly enough, especially without good pics or box…WHATEVER! ~:> lol. 🙂
June 15, 2007 at 10:58 pm #589406It shows his personality. I sure wouldn’t want to meet him in person! It sounds like he expects too much out of people. Like he’s the only one to own that gargoyle! He acts like his is the only one in the world! It sounds like no one from this forum will buy the gargoyle from him!
June 16, 2007 at 12:13 am #589407OMG! I read his description and….I’m at a loss for words….HOW on EARTH do they think anyone is going to want to deal with them? 😯

Really? That’s funny, since they used a picture from the Astral Castle Encyclopedia!!!

Well, Nebraska doesn’t have a subway system, but I’m only 30 mins away by car…. 😈
But I like my car… and I dislike Lincoln even more than Omaha, so… 🙄
But yeah, wow… what a jerk.June 16, 2007 at 2:38 am #589410It’s been removed… what exactly happened? Other than he was a complete moron…
June 16, 2007 at 3:28 am #589411He really is a jerk. I sent him a message telling him that he came off as one, thinking that he was sort of just being facetious in the auction listing (and I assure you I was nothing but polite). Nope. Here’s the response he sent me:
I appreciate YOUR Honesty but you have not walked in my seller’s shoes — and you have not dealt with this listing in particular. I don’t know exactly why my listing concerns you so. If I see something I don’t like in a listing I simply don’t buy it. I don’t spend a lot of time hassling people who are trying to make a little bit of extra money by selling off their collectibles but perhaps you have nothing better to do. My ebay reputation speaks for itself and my customers are 100% satisfied. Thank you for taking the time to personally write me an email. I’m sure you will sleep better tonight.
Jerk through and through.
