lol! i made that guy an offer when he ran it the first time….lol! thats too funny about this guy.. is he browsing our feedback to see what we buy? not that there is anything wrong with that…but iiiiiiiiiii bought a peacock lap dragon for $125 which is in my feedback… sounds like he is referring to that in part as i had made him an offer, i bet he checked me out……or is he just going by what he sees sells? that is a bit obnoxious that he put that stuff right in his subtitle area! wow! lol! wheeling n dealing doesn’t work too well with these, unfortunately. people like to feel comfy with who they are buying from. boy that is a better price too, esp. with the shipping… if he didn’t put that prodding stuff on there i would maybe go for it as i really want that piece….that makes it feel funny now though…but the pics aren’t too good either, you can’t see if there is any damage.. i’d like to see better pics…you can rarely can trust the sellers word that a piece is not damaged if they arem’t super into them…….
i got a real dud dragon off of ebay recently where the piece was described as being well cared for, living its life in a cabinet… but it had substantial chips with mismatched paint cover ups, all the gold details flaking off as they were painted back on… i had gold paint peels all stuck to my hands! plus i got charged double for shipping! i am not sure what to do, i have to email the seller…. but they sold off their collection and i wonder if some of y’all have some coming to you….if you have any nasty surprises in store like me… 😕Who was the seller if you don’t mind my asking?
June 15, 2007 at 5:41 pm #589383I’d be willing to pay $100 for the dragon gargoyle. But I think that person is going out on a limb with this particular sale tactic. People buy what they’re looking for. Sometimes they pick up pieces because they’re cheap, but it’s not like someone would buy that gargoyle because it’s a few dozen bucks cheaper than a painted dragon they’ve been after for a while. 🙄
June 15, 2007 at 5:57 pm #589384I personally don’t like the gargoyles… I would gladly pay $125 for a peacock lap, but I totally wouldn’t pay $100 for a dragon gargoyle… That’s just me though… I agree I don’t think you can put the prices we pay for coloured dragons in the same boat as Gargoyles and she/he should have looked at what the original prices were before poking fun at someone who would pay $125 for a unicorn gargoyle.. 😛
June 15, 2007 at 5:58 pm #589385That’s another thing. People have preferences. Just because they pay $125 for a peacock lap doesn’t mean they’ll pay half taht for a gargoyle if they don’t like the gargoyles.
June 15, 2007 at 7:03 pm #589386Can anyone tell me what the listing used to say? It’s been pulled and with all your comments I am so curious now! 😆
June 15, 2007 at 7:16 pm #589387Awww, it’s gone. I missed seeing what it said.
June 15, 2007 at 7:20 pm #589388Yeah, it’s off now. What did it say? I’m curious now 🙂
June 15, 2007 at 7:22 pm #589389I didn’t save it. Hopefully someone can remember.
June 15, 2007 at 7:45 pm #589390It basically said that he was disappointed that no one was willing to buy his gargoyle at the price he wanted. And, that he found the offers he has received slightly offensive due to the fact that people pay more for the peacock dragons. And if you buy it now, he will ship for free as long as he is in a good mood.
But his message was a bit more offensive than my summary.
While I want a dragon gargoyle, I hesitate to buy from anyone who seem difficult to deal with. If it arrives damaged, I like to know that my seller will be reasonable and helpful. He didn’t strike me that way. 😕
June 15, 2007 at 7:58 pm #589391Link isn’t working for e did they take it down, I’m so glad you guys patroll ebay lol!

Especially when I look in their history and see that they have paid over $125 for a very common piece like the Unicorn Gargoyle or another peacock colored piece (yawn). I think its sad when people try to take advantage of others.
Holy shit he is totally bashing tf now in the freaking auction description! That really pisses me off 👿
June 15, 2007 at 8:38 pm #589394what a jerk! can you report him for that? even if he didnt mention names? and that is kind of crappy to assume that just because someone paid more for a nother statue, they will pay the same price for yours!
June 15, 2007 at 8:51 pm #589395Thanks for the good laugh! What a boob. That listing cracked me up though. *yawns* 😯
June 15, 2007 at 8:55 pm #589396Gee, has anybody politely told this fellow he’s coming off like a Grade A jerk, yet?
I sent him a message telling him that he’d probably sell better without the jabs in it. We’ll see if he responds.
