Glad you liked everything siberakh1! After a little bum period, I’m really enjoying my retirement because this is one of the things I love doing. Just love shopping and finding little goodies to send someone. All these gifts look great–can’t wait until I get mine! Weeeeeee!
December 8, 2012 at 1:40 pm #889690Mine shipped out a few days ago and should be getting to my person soon!!! 🙂 I hope she likes what I sent!!!! 🙂
December 8, 2012 at 4:24 pm #889694It’s been almost two weeks since I sent mine. Man, I hope my recipient gets it soon!

If it went out of country–that could be understandable–but if it’s domestic, I’d worry. Someone told me at this time of year, it has been known that some follow delivery trucks and take packages right after they’ve been delivered.
I love these swaps, but we don’t know when that package will arrive. I’m wondering if in the future, the tracking number could be sent to the receipent just so they know to keep a heads up and look for delivery. It might spoil the surprise of who is the sender for some, but it might help with anxious senders wondering if their package made it okay. I know I would be worried if it’s been two weeks and I haven’t heard anything. Just a thought.
December 8, 2012 at 10:59 pm #889703If it came to Canada it will be a bit longer, it seems everything gets stuck in customs these days, i have bought some stuff from a friend in Spain and it always takes 4-6 WEEKS before i get it, i think customs likes to carry my purses and dog collars around for some reason, LOL.
December 9, 2012 at 1:59 am #889721I just got my gifts from Tinks! Thank you so much, Tinks! I love everything and thanks for checking out my Amazon wish list–wouldn’t know I wanted some of these things if one didn’t look. I’ll try and get pictures posted tomorrow [if I can get my host site to work]. But I got Hershey’s Kisses; small box of Ferrero Rocher chocolates; the CD ‘George Is On’ by Deep Dish; the DVDs Kill Bill volume 1&2 and a very cute Santa duckie along with a very sweet card. I love it! Again, thank you so much! Munch, munch, munch–mouth full of chocolates.
I posted this shortly after I got my package–a minor correction–I didn’t receive a tin of Hersheys Kisses but a recepe card collection! There are recepes for all kinds of goodies–pecan min kisses cups, peanut butter blossoms, toffee topped pineapple upside-down cake to name a few. I love it–can make my own goodies–the Ferrero Rocher chocolates are for real!
December 9, 2012 at 3:28 am #889730Well, I’m not worried yet because it did go out of the country. I just fret because there’s no tracking once it leaves here. 😛
December 9, 2012 at 8:48 am #889742Why not? I can track Canada post ones to their destination, I just have to use the USPS site.
December 9, 2012 at 4:25 pm #889748Because the USPS is a bit lame?
December 9, 2012 at 9:25 pm #889758I got my gift from Leigha yesterday. Everything is perfect! A lot of thought obviously went into each and every item! Thanks Leigha! I am thrilled. Photos to come…….

Hey Rusti if it came to canada go to canadapost.ca. Tools menu drop down, tracking and enter the tracking number. Anytime I get something from the states shipped USPS I can track it while in US at usps.com and then when it hits the Canadian border I got to canadapost.ca and track the item throughout canada. Give it a whirl, it may help! 🙂
December 9, 2012 at 10:44 pm #889762Yes, once a package ships out of the US and hits customs in the destination country, you have to go to the website for the mail service of the destination country. That or use a website that will track for different countries. I can track things sent by USPS no problem once they hit customs outside the US. For Canada, just go to the CanadaPost website. As long as the package has been scanned, it should show up. Usually takes about 10-14 days (roughly) to ship from the US to Canada.
December 9, 2012 at 11:42 pm #889771Tried your suggestion, number not found. Guess it’s hit customs and is hangin’. It’s taken a month or so for things to get to people before, so like I said, I’m not worried yet that the package is lost, just anxious for it to get there!
December 10, 2012 at 5:33 am #889776I received my gift from Leigha yesterday. I waited until today to open it. I think that shows remarkable self restraint on my part.
The wonderous contents….
There was a lovely calendar with lots of different Windstone Birdwing Flapcats. (One of my favorite sculpts besides the dragons). A flap cat ornament with both open and closed eyes, some play toys for my minions er… I mean my cats, and some yummy chocolate bars. Those bars will take me one step closer to the chocolate induced coma I had planned for the holidays. lol
Of course the cats had to check the wrapping paper for concealed compartments and inter-dimensional portals.
None here.
This piece is clean too.
Hemi was asleep, as usual, so I took him his very own toy to play with.
He approves
He heard the paper inspection on going in the next room and finally went to investigate.
Kanga did not want to give up her spot.
They took the tussle into the kitchen allowing Grendel Blackleg to come check things out for himself.
Playing is dirty work. Bath time.
