I’m going to be completing my thesis in a couple of months and I’m going to do a fictional wine company called Aesop’s Fox and Grapes Wine Co.

If a wine company were going to have goodies, what would you think of? I’m going to do three wine labels, a logo for the company and perhaps a wine glass with a design on it.

What else comes to mind for you guys?

          Graphically speaking, you mean?

A wine list at their store, the sign out front, worker’s shirts, hats, awards they’ve won, bottle openers, unique corks, those little charms people put on their wine glasses at parties so they know which one is theirs…

            I love you.

You just gave me a treasure trove of things to choose from.

*grins* My pleasure! Also maybe initial design sketches of their facility? The wine cellar, their quaint little store…artwork on the walls, their own coffee table book? 🙂

I don’t need a ton of things, just enough to make a kind of display from/make an identity for the company.

the wine bottles, logo, wine list, charms (though I have no idea where I’d get those made, same for corks, I need to visit a winery) and a couple other things will be plenty.

I’ll never do anything quite like this again.

*grins* It sounds like a fun thesis.

There are also wine containers (bags, the round boxes, special packaging for gifts).

And you might find inspiration for “Make your wine” kits, so the box, of course the labels, and if you really want to get fancy, the bags inside the box: the concentrated grape juice, the sugar, etc.

Read my books! Volume 1 and 2 of A Dragon Medley are available now.

I have an idea for charms if you havn’t already done it. Us shrinky-dinks plastic to create your own. You can buy it in a hobby store. That way everything will match. 🙂

While hiding somewhere in my head I'm on the lookout for white oriental dragons! Please let me know if you know of any available. Thank you!

I’ve made wine glass charms before, and am a wine junkie. I was gonna say the same stuff Stephanie did. how intricate do you need to get?

It’s basically a marathon exercise in design. It doesn’t have to be a whole heck of a lot of stuff.
