Those have been up before, except I haven’t seen the egg with eyes. The young dragons are castings from the actual young dragon.

The last three are definately stolen in their entirety. All you have to do is take a look at any of the young dragons and compare, pose is identical, scales are identical, someone copied a Windstone, no doubt on that.

These are the kinds of folks John and his lawyers need to go after.

First they would need to find out where this person got them. I doubt they would get 3 as “gifts” especially when they seem to have a few other ripoffs in quantities. The hatching egg with the eyes for example. Very fishy

Why would anyone paint over the glass eyes when it always looks so hideous??

Well, I think it must be hard to remake them. All the ones we’ve seen look all bulbus and swollen looking. These ones don’t. They are actually a really good ripoff to just say it bluntly. (if in fact, they are at all) So I’m wondering if they are just REALLY bad repaints. I want to scratch the paint off the eyes and see 😕

they look like re-casts. those limbs and the whole critter is a bit thicker and chubbier..

Well we shall see for ourselves! I just bought the gold one. I want to see if there is a Pena logo on it (funny how it’s purposely not shown in the pics at all) Maybe I can get some information by actually examining it. It’s only 8 bucks so if it’s a ripoff at least I didn’t waste too much money. I wonder if it will actually even be shipped to me at all. Sometimes they scam you like that too.

Please don’t buy these (er, unless you really want ’em) so that John has a chance to. Windstone has to purchase these in order to do anything about it most of the time. I’ve emailed John.

(And don’t warn the seller. Chances are they are innocent, but if they aren’t and Windstone has to go after them, it’s easier if Windstone has proof they were selling rip offs)

Yea, I definatly plan to. I have a rip off of the big wizard unpainted. It was in the ceramic factory for YEARS. I came across it last year while cleaning. The hydracal company who made it is out of business now, but I wonder if it could be useful to John and Melody ???

No, John buys most of the rip offs that he needs to go after. They have a lot more legal power if they have proof of selling them that way, and then it gives them the benefit of having the seller’s physical contact information (for lawyer letters if necessary… usually doesn’t come to this but if they need to they can).
