The amethyst lap is absolutely gorgeous. I think it’s officially my favorite regular production item.
Oh my! The saturation of the purple on the amethyst color is trying to eat my brains out with a straw..!! I’m so glad we all like different things here, it makes life a lot more interesting. XD

From the auction information: These special first ten Amethyst Lap Dragons are all identical to the regular production Amethyst Lap Dragons, except they have all been given a coating of “magic invisible paint”, and they are signed by me, Melody Pena. Also, some of them (like this one) will have differently colored eyes and jewels than the regular production Amethyst Lap dragons (regular production Amethyst dragons have orange eyes and an amethyst jewel).So it seems possible that some of the special 10 will have the orange eyes and an amethyst jewel.
The laps are one of my favorite sculpt but i’m glad to see i don’t like this color on her. So it’s doubtful I will like it on any of the others. The old warrior will be the big test. At least this new color is good for my wallet 😀

Yeah…. especially if you are bidding on something, you guys NEED to read the descriptions, or at the very least, what is bolded or underlined 🙂
LOL yeah… I tend to skip the reading part, too, when it comes to Windstone auctions. 😀 I tend to bid then go back and read after… like its gonna dissapear if I dont get my bid in. That’s probably not good practice. 😳
Heh.. yeah… Sometimes the items have damage, or some other defect, that isn’t very obvious in pictures but would be noticeable in person. Anything like that will be specified in the description. There is also usually info about how many of an item there is (i.e. – if it’s the only one Melody has painted or if she has painted several). And as of lately, nothing has been shipped with a COA. That is also addressed in the auction descriptions.
I am debating whether to even keep going with the choose your own eye color deal since on about half of those things, the winner never bothers to tell me what color they want, even after they pay! I guess in addition to not reading the description, they also don’t even look at the pictures, or something. :shrug: Its really annoying.Oh no!!! I like the eye color choices. Maybe put a big bold line in saying if you don’t get a message before or with payment then you will get the “default” color which is THIS
or something like that? SO they have no right to complain. 🙂

…or that you will get no eyes at all. 😈I, too, like the eye choices… and would pick one. I just never win. 😳
